SUMMARY
The Marketing Operations Analyst is the primary administrator and operational owner of the organization’s marketing technology platforms, digital communication systems, and marketing operational workflows.
The position serves as an operational partner within the Marketing team by administering work management tools, improving workflows, supporting campaign execution, and ensuring consistent and effective member experiences across digital communication touchpoints. This role combines technical expertise, process improvement, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to help maximize marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Public website administration:
- Manage the organization’s public website, leveraging analytics to identify opportunities for improvements in user experience, content effectiveness, and digital engagement.
- Administer content management system for the public website.
- Monitor website performance, accessibility, user experience, and content effectiveness.
- Partner with content creators and marketing strategists to improve digital engagement.
- Coordinate website enhancements and improvements with IT and third-party vendors.
- Establish website governance standards and periodic content review processes.
- Utilize research and conduct experiments to optimize search engine visibility for the organization’s public web content.
- Digital Banking communication platforms:
- Administer communication tools for the organization’s digital banking platforms.
- Launch member-facing communications such as alerts, informational messages, and marketing campaigns via the organization’s digital banking platforms.
- Marketing automation platform:
- Administer the organization’s marketing automation platform.
- Build and maintain automated member journeys and lifecycle marketing campaigns.
- Monitor to ensure timely and accurate execution of automated member journeys.
- Collaborate with technical teams to enhance data integration between marketing automation and other sources of member data.
- Analytics and reporting:
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision making across the Marketing department.
- Analyze website, digital banking, and marketing automation metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights to support marketing strategy and campaign optimization.
- Monitor performance indicators and communicate results to marketing leadership.
- Project and work management:
- Administer the Marketing team’s work management tools and workflows.
- Serve as the department’s subject matter expert for work management methodologies and process design to maximize efficiency within the various functions of the team.
- Continuously evaluate team workflows and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate closely with marketing strategists, content creators, and designers to ensure efficient execution of campaigns and initiatives.
- Develop and administer work intake forms to facilitate consistent and efficient intake of work requests from other business units.
- Team operating procedures:
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for marketing team workflows.
- Proactively identify opportunities to simplify and streamline workflows in order to drive new efficiencies within the department.
- Support campaign planning and execution by coordinating digital platform requirements, workflow setup, audience configuration, and measurement planning.
- Partner with Information Technology, Digital Banking, and vendor teams to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and support platform integrations.
- Ensure marketing platforms, workflows, and member-facing communication adhere to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Stay current on marketing technology, digital communication trends, and industry best practices.
- Provide support for marketing-related requests received from other internal business teams.
