Job Description
Overview
The Marketing Manager oversees daily operations of the Kissing Tree Welcome Center, ensuring a positive experience for guests and prospective homebuyers. This includes managing staff, scheduling, staffing for business hours and events, and maintaining operational consistency. The role is also responsible for facility upkeep, performance monitoring, and process improvements to drive efficiency and service quality. In partnership with the Sr. Marketing Manager, the Marketing Manager provides regular updates and supports the development and execution of marketing strategies to achieve business goals.
Key Deliverables
Welcome Center Operations & Staff Management
- Oversee all aspects of the Welcome Center’s daily operations including sourcing and scheduling trades, managing budgets, ordering supplies, and coordinating technology and ongoing maintenance of the facility.
- Ensure the Welcome Center maintains brand standards.
- Manage schedules and coordinate weekend coverage for occasional weekend events.
- Ensure technology systems are maintained and utilized effectively; technology aptitude and tech skills are a must.
- Hire, train, and lead Welcome Center Community Representatives.
- Conduct ongoing training that supports the community brand and customer experience.
Guest Experience and Brand Stewardship
- Ensure all guest and homebuyer touchpoints reflect the community brand.
- Educate team members on brand values and mission to foster alignment.
- Communicate to emphasis community features and the active adult lifestyle.
- Coordinate across departments to ensure a seamless experience.
- Be solution focused and have a sense of ownership for all inquiries.
Reporting and Communication
- Provide regular updates to Sr. Marketing Manager. Track visitor metrics, supply usage, and maintenance needs.
- Communicate trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular updates and support in determining and managing strategy.
Collaboration with Marketing and Sales Team
- Support marketing initiatives and community events.
- Work closely with sales and builder leadership.
- Provide support and clarity for evolving responsibilities between the Welcome Center and sales.
Community and Realtor Engagement
- Represent the Welcome Center at networking events.
- Assist with Realtor outreach and community
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field preferred
- Experience in homebuilding or real estate a plus
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and other relevant technologies; technology aptitude and tech skills are a must
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport, navigate interpersonal situations with professionalism, and adapt communication styles to different audiences
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- 3+ years in customer service, hospitality, or real estate
- Availability to work occasional weekends for events
