About the team and role:

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to support our Business Development and Brand Development teams at eBay. In this role, you will collaborate with key partners to support our global strategy. You will work closely with the Sr Content Comms Manager to craft, test, measure, and refine marketing initiatives and enablement materials aimed at driving acquisition and accelerating growth!

What you will accomplish:
  • Build and maintain high-quality presentations, one pager and digital content that effectively communicates the value of the eBay marketplace to potential and existing brands and sellers. Collaborate with design and SMEs to ensure materials are consistent with brand guidelines and messaging.

  • Development comprehensive plans in collaboration with cross-functional partners for key programs that help enhance seller engagement and increase marketplace velocity.

  • Supervise the effectiveness of enablement materials and programs through feedback and performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations and improvements.

  • Conceptualize and implement seller-centric content campaigns that celebrate seller success and highlight seller growth journeys on eBay.

  • Work hand-in-hand with external vendors to raise the bar and test mediums and channels.

What you will bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, English, Communications or

  • related field.

  • 3 years of relevant marketing experience in a direct sale, B2B or B2C organization (bonus points for experience in eCommerce media/ad sales).

  • Experience in identifying and telling highly data-driven stories gleaned from first and third-party data.

  • Advocate for quality, bringing an eye for detail.

  • Self-starter who seeks out growth opportunities and projects and is capable of completing them start-to-finish cross-functionally.

  • Self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and manage through ambiguity.

  • A team player who believes in ‘we’ over ‘me’. Excellent relationship building skills, and a proven track record of collaborating effectively and with positivity.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$70,000 - $120,700

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
