RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Marketing Strategies for Music & Artists
    • Develop and execute marketing plans for all song and album releases, ensuring they’re delivered on time with clear expectations for the team.
    • Create ongoing marketing strategies to grow exposure for both our songs and artists beyond release weeks.
    • Manage the marketing budget and make sure resources are used effectively.
  • Strategic Decisions & Reporting 
    • Stay on top of release schedules, ensuring the label team is informed of submission and release dates. 
    • Make recommendations on release schedules for new projects to give them the greatest chance of success and impact. 
    • Create weekly Elevation Worship Records (EWR) reports to artists and leadership team 
    • Research industry trends and analytics to keep marketing strategies relevant and effective.
    • Provide marketing reports that show the spends and results of marketing campaigns 
  • Manage Key Relationships & Promotional Efforts
    • Work closely with our distributor to support digital service provider (DSP) relationships and playlisting opportunities.
    • Present PR requests (interviews, appearances, etc.) to the Communications Director and to artists.
    • Determine a merch strategy for releases and collaborate with the Creative Director and Creative Project Manager to execute.
  • Guide Strategy Execution Across Platforms
    • Determine ongoing paid advertising strategy (Meta, YT, DSP’s, etc) Communicate ad strategy needs to the Marketing Coordinator and Creative Project Manager for execution. 
    • Outline email marketing strategies and influence content direction for creative assets 
    • Direct and support social media strategy and ensure it aligns with marketing goals.
    • Oversee website content and give final sign-off before updates go live.
  • Additional Marketing and Submission Support
    • Complete necessary marketing materials, including charts, lyrics for Apple, marketing points, press releases, and artist bios.
    • Handle the submission of invoices
    • Create and execute marketing strategies for all tour ticket sales.
    • Assist with any Elevation Worship Records events as needed.
    • YouTube Descriptions and monitoring the launch of new content on this platform 

MUST-HAVES

  • Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)
  • Strong strategic thinking and marketing expertise.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Understanding of DSPs, playlisting, and the evolving music industry landscape.
  • Experience managing budgets and timelines.
  • Ability to collaborate well with creative teams, artists, and external partners.
  • Passion for worship music and Elevation Church’s mission.

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Experience working in a non-profit or ministry setting.

    DAY-TO-DAY

    • We’re a Sunday-Thursday work environment.  Monday-Thursday, we’re in the office (8:30AM - 5PM); on Sunday, we’re supporting the weekend worship experience either directly in our roles or by choosing a weekly serving opportunity at one of our Elevation Church campuses.
    • There’s a lot to accomplish each week, so we’re pretty fast-paced.  We’re also not afraid to pivot a strategy or project quickly to meet the needs of the weekend - adaptability is a key competence for us.
    • Yes, we work hard.  But we’re good at playing hard, too.  We’re a creative staff, so there’s no shortage of activities around our offices to have some fun!
