The Manager, Transitions plays one of the most critical roles in Bell’s marketing organization ensuring every new acquisition, disposition, and rebrand transitions seamlessly, accurately, and on time. You are the first and final stop in the marketing lifecycle, ensuring all details are right, all teams are aligned, and every property is positioned for success before it’s handed off. 

This role is a key bridge between marketing, operations, ownership, and on-site teams, ensuring every transition reflects Bell’s high standards of precision, partnership, and care. From onboarding new properties to ensuring clean and compliant exits, your leadership sets the tone.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Transition Leadership

  • Lead and manage all marketing-related activities for acquisitions, dispositions, and rebrands from planning through completion.

  • Act as the primary contact for on-site operations and support departments during transitions, ensuring all deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned.

  • Own the end-to-end coordination of all property marketing transition tasks, ensuring a seamless handoff to the Account Management team.

  • Support transition projects by facilitating onboarding and integration activities for newly acquired or third-party-managed communities.

  • Ensure all property transition tasks are completed with precision and within established timelines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including Operations, Digital, Account Management, and Brand teams, to ensure transitions meet performance, brand, and compliance standards.

  • Work with the Brand team on naming, positioning, and identity for new assets to ensure alignment with Bell’s brand strategy.

  • Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and internal teams to transfer and set up all digital assets, including websites, social channels, CRM integrations, and listings.

  • Serve as a key connector between departments, ensuring communication is clear and issues are escalated and resolved quickly.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage detailed transition checklists, timelines, and reports to ensure visibility and accountability across all stakeholders.

  • Identify operational gaps and propose enhancements that drive efficiency and consistency across transitions.

  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance across all marketing materials, listings, and digital channels.

  • Maintain Bell’s corporate website and internal updates for new transitions, lease-ups, and dispositions.

  • Collaborate with the Account Management team to assist in writing and aligning property marketing budgets during the transition process, ensuring all financial details are accurate and properly transferred.

Communication & Influence

  • Lead transition calls and provide clear updates to internal teams and ownership partners on status, risks, and milestones.

  • Professionally present transition updates to clients and senior leaders with a strong understanding of marketing processes, technologies, and timelines.

  • Influence outcomes across teams and vendors by setting expectations, clarifying deliverables, and driving accountability.

  • Ensure all transition documentation, files, and creative assets are accurately captured and transferred to the Account Management team.

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, operations, or project management (multifamily or real estate preferred).
