The Cut+Dry founders and executive team have a background uniquely suited to attack this complicated problem. Consisting of lifelong Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, the leaders have built and exited multiple startups and possess deep domain expertise in the restaurant and food supply chain business, having sold previous startups to one of the world’s largest food distributors.
Who We’re Looking For
Cut+Dry services the needs of restaurants, distributors, and manufacturers, building novel and modern interfaces. It is critical that we are able to effectively communicate the value ofour product to each audience in order to drive interest and adoption.
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to oversee the marketing and go-to-market efforts. This person will be an integral part of the team and needs to be able to wear many hats. You’ll have to work on several projects covering multiple marketing areas.
At a tactical level, you will be responsible for email campaigns, sales enablement, content creation, social media, product announcements, and more. You will work closely with leads from Product, Engineering, Account Management, Operations, and Partners and will report to the Marketing Director at Cut+Dry.
Our ideal candidate is a fast-mover with a hunger to not only meet but exceed our growth targets. As an early-stage startup, you must be able to thrive in a fast-moving, rapidly-evolving work setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop messaging and positioning by deeply understanding our stakeholders’ needs through industry and competitive research
- Identify and create content to drive demand at every stage of the prospect journey
- Create collateral to support the sales and customer-facing teams
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
- Work closely with our content manager to create engaging and informative content for the website, blog, social media, and any other content marketing channels that the business might leverage
- Building sustainable relationships and partnerships with other key players such as industry organizations, advertising/PR agencies, and freelancers as needed
- Explore new ways to engage and generate inbound leads
- Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
- Manage and improve organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on clickthrough rates, traffic, and conversions.
- Assist with event planning, including working with team members, vendors, and design teams during pre, during, and post-show
Qualifications:
- +3 years of marketing experience (ideally B2B, Fintech, or Supply Chain)
- You have designed and executed marketing initiatives that provide you with enough context to pattern match, but also have an appreciation for approaching new challenges
- You have previously worked in an outcomes-driven organization and are excited about owning or co-owning metrics related to your work
- Exceptional time-management and organizational capabilities
- Storyteller with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have obsessive attention to detail
- A self-starter who is comfortable with being involved with projects from beginning to end
- Passion for problem-solving and ability to empathize with stakeholder concerns and priorities
- BA/BS university degree preferred
- Bonus if you have prior experience in the hospitality industry

What We Do
Cut+Dry is the #1 e-commerce platform for foodservice distributors. We are the only back-of-office sales enablement and customer-facing e-commerce tool in the industry.
Cut+Dry was created by a team of food service fanatics with decades of experience in hospitality, technology, restaurant operations, wholesale food distribution, food analytics, and data science.
Our executive team has built and scaled multiple companies in the food service industry, but most importantly, we created Sysco LABS and led Sysco’s multi-year digital transformation. This first-hand exposure to food service distribution illuminated the antiquated, analog process of procuring wholesale goods from those who supply them to those who ultimately consume them.
After a few years, they’ve decided to part ways with Sysco and start something new. It all started with a simple idea: to level the playfield with technology. And thus, Cut+Dry was born.
Our platform is powerful and flexible, but we’re not selling technology. We’re giving food service businesses a tech solution to enhance their operations, grow sales, and have a positive impact.
