The Marketing Manager Indonesia is responsible for driving local brand growth and customer acquisition/originations through strategic marketing initiatives across Indonesia. The role leads PR and communications, partner and retail marketing, point-of-sale visibility, branding, digital marketing, and integrated campaigns to strengthen PayJoy’s market presence, increase customer engagement, and support revenue growth. This position works cross-functionally with Sales, Partnerships, CX, Collections, Risk, Product, and Operations to deliver high-impact marketing programs that improve channel performance and drive device activations across Indonesia’s diverse, multi-island market.
Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across all customer and partner touchpoints.
- Develop and execute locally relevant, insight-led campaigns to drive customer acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue growth across Indonesia.
- Lead joint marketing initiatives with national and regional retail, distribution, telecommunications, and channel partners to increase activations and strengthen market presence.
- Oversee retail branding, point-of-sale visibility, merchandising standards, and customer engagement strategies across priority locations.
- Drive PR, social media, influencer, and digital content activities to build trust and strengthen PayJoy’s reputation in Indonesia.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Partnerships, CX, Collections, Risk, Product, and Operations to support commercial objectives, compliant local messaging, and campaign execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 6-9 years of experience in marketing, trade marketing, brand management, or partner marketing. Demonstrated ownership of country-level marketing strategy, budgets, agencies and commercial targets.
- Experience managing integrated campaigns across retail, partner, digital, social, and PR channels in Indonesia.
- Strong understanding of the Indonesian consumer landscape, brand building, point-of-sale marketing, digital acquisition, and local customer behaviour.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders, agencies, media partners, creators, and external commercial partners effectively.
- Experience in fintech, telecommunications, smartphone/device retail, e-commerce, or consumer technology in Indonesia is preferred.
- Strong project management, communication, budget management, and analytical skills, with the ability to execute across multiple regions in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to translate customer and channel insights into measurable marketing activity that drives market growth and commercial outcomes.
