JOB TITLE: Marketing Manager
LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, UAE
CONTRACT TYPE: 12-month secondment, full-time
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Marketing Manager will be embedded within a leading Abu Dhabi organisation, acting as the central coordinator for all marketing activities across multiple business units and initiatives. This role is responsible for translating organisational priorities into integrated marketing plans, ensuring consistent brand governance, and delivering measurable marketing outcomes across owned, earned, and digital channels.Working closely with senior stakeholders, the Marketing Manager will lead planning, campaign coordination, content governance, website oversight, CRM communications, and performance reporting. The role requires someone who is equally comfortable operating strategically while managing day-to-day marketing operations, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on brand, and aligned with organisational objectives.
Success in this role will be measured by the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships, maintain high standards of quality and governance, improve marketing effectiveness through data-driven decision making, and ensure seamless coordination across multiple concurrent workstreams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop annual and quarterly marketing strategies aligned with organisational priorities and business objectives.
- Create integrated marketing plans, campaign roadmaps, and editorial calendars across web, email, publications, and events.
- Define target audiences, campaign objectives, key messaging, and performance indicators.
- Coordinate the delivery of multiple marketing initiatives, ensuring projects remain on schedule and stakeholders remain aligned.
- Produce and review high-quality bilingual marketing content across websites, email communications, reports, invitations, and corporate publications.
- Ensure consistency of brand identity, messaging, tone of voice, and visual standards across all communications.
- Maintain and oversee brand guidelines, templates, and digital asset management processes.
- Lead website governance, identifying UX improvements, content updates, SEO opportunities, and coordinating enhancements with technical teams.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, CRM communications, audience segmentation, and marketing automation initiatives.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse marketing data, and prepare monthly dashboards and quarterly performance reports.
- Identify optimisation opportunities through campaign analysis, audience insights, and performance metrics.
- Review and approve social media content to ensure factual accuracy, brand consistency, and alignment with wider marketing campaigns.
- Support the planning and delivery of events, including speaker support, onsite marketing coordination, and post-event communications.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and act as a trusted marketing advisor across the organisation.
- Ensure marketing activities comply with governance, data privacy, and organisational policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years' experience in marketing, brand management, or integrated communications.
- Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
- Strong understanding of brand governance, content strategy, website management, CRM, and email marketing.
- Experience overseeing SEO, UX improvements, marketing automation, and analytics.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Strong analytical skills with experience producing dashboards, campaign reporting, and performance insights.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Arabic language skills would be highly advantageous.
- Experience working within government, public sector, or highly regulated organisations is desirable.
