Job Summary
The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing integrated marketing, communications, advertising, and event initiatives that support Roseman University's enrollment, patient outreach, and brand awareness goals. Working with a high degree of independence, this position manages marketing projects from concept through implementation, collaborates with leaders across the University, and serves as a trusted partner to internal and external stakeholders. The Marketing Manager exercises sound judgment, identifies opportunities for improvement, and proactively advances projects while ensuring alignment with institutional priorities, brand standards, and marketing objectives.
Essential Functions
• Brand & Advertising
• Partner with the Vice President and Director of Marketing to implement integrated marketing and advertising campaigns that strengthen the University's brand, support enrollment and patient growth, and advance institutional priorities.
• Independently manage assigned marketing campaigns from planning through execution, coordinating timelines, creative assets, vendors, stakeholders, and campaign performance reporting.
• Develop marketing content, promotional materials, and campaign plans aligned with established marketing strategies and evolving institutional priorities.
• Maintain and organize the University's digital asset management system to ensure brand consistency, accessibility, and compliance with institutional standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes, campaign effectiveness, and operational efficiency while recommending practical solutions.
• Recruitment/Enrollment & Growth Support
• Coordinate marketing initiatives that support student recruitment and patient recruitment objectives by partnering with academic leadership, Clinical Directors, Admissions, and Recruitment.
• Develop project plans, establish timelines, monitor deliverables, and facilitate collaboration among internal stakeholders.
• Represent the University at recruitment events and community outreach activities, ensuring consistent messaging and a professional institutional presence.
• Monitor campaign performance, enrollment trends, market activity, and competitor initiatives, providing recommendations that support continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration
• Build productive relationships with faculty, staff, students, vendors, community organizations, and external partners while representing the University in a professional and service-oriented manner.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned marketing vendors and agencies, coordinating projects, monitoring deliverables, and ensuring work is completed on time and within expectations.
• Track assigned marketing budgets, monitor expenditures, and assist leadership in evaluating marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
• Event Planning & Community Engagement
• Plan, coordinate, promote, and execute University marketing events that support student and patient recruitment, community engagement, and institutional visibility.
• Coordinate event logistics, manage event communications, support presenters, oversee event technology, and ensure a positive experience for attendees and partners.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen community partnerships, expand outreach efforts, and improve future event participation and engagement.
• Operational Excellence
• Demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and accountability by independently managing priorities, anticipating project needs, and resolving day-to-day challenges while keeping leadership informed of significant issues.
• Effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the University while maintaining professionalism, flexibility, and a strong customer service orientation.
• Work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications
• Three to five years of progressively responsible marketing, communications, advertising, or event management experience, preferably in higher education, healthcare, nonprofit, or agency environments.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing marketing projects from planning through execution.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between campuses and community events.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Individual must possess the knowledge and following skills and abilities or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities:
• Knowledge of marketing principles, branding, digital marketing, email marketing, social media, content development, and marketing analytics.
• Experience using CRM systems, website content management systems, and common marketing technologies.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
