**this is a hybrid (3 day in Downtown, 1 day Etobicoke, 1 day WFH) role based out of Toronto, ON**
About the position
Working with a proven brand and an award-winning in-house marketing studio the Marketing Manager of Strategy & Pursuits will partner with senior leaders and advisors to develop pursuit strategies, proposals and property marketing strategy for mid to large industrial and office sales and leasing projects.
This role is integral to the strategic positioning of the company as a knowledge and service expert implementing key marketing initiatives. Success will be measured by new business development, increased market share, and project marketing campaign success.
In this role, you will...
Provide input into the development and evolvement of Colliers’ Industrial and office service line value propositions, managing the proposal process through to completion
Work closely with Managing Directors to develop and execute strategic initiatives that support client engagement plans for service lines within their local markets
Be the designated go-to for mid to large industrial and office landlord brokerage proposal development, defining overall proposal and property marketing strategy, as well as execution plan
Create custom proposal content and other pitch collateral (presentations, follow up notes, etc.)
Liaise with Colliers’ in-house marketing studio and clients to ensure major projects are executed according to the defined strategy and budget
Maintain library of standard proposal content, templates and best practices for industrial and office advisors and their teams to self-perform small to medium proposals efficiently at a high quality
Track performance of bids (win/loss) and coordinates proposal post-mortems
Develop performance metrics to demonstrate/measure the effectiveness of programs, events, campaigns and projects
Provide training to marketing professionals, advisors and their teams to advance their property marketing capabilities
Contribute to the overall Colliers marketing planning and strategy as part of the Canadian Marketing Leadership Team
Facilitate the sharing of best practices and collaboration across Canada with other marketing leaders at Colliers
Liaise with other industrial and office marketing leaders across Colliers’ global platform to source relevant best practices
Execute internal and leadership communications to drive engagement and tool adoption by advisors
What you bring
Bachelor's degree or similar, preferably in marketing or a related field.
5+ years proposal development experience in a B2B setting and executing marketing strategies
Advanced writing and editing skills with an emphasis on proposal writing
Experience marketing industrial and office estate projects preferred
Comfortable in a complex enterprising organization with many stakeholders
Working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques
Proven effectiveness at building strong relationships internally and externally
Strong business acumen with sound financial acumen
Minimal ad hoc travel may be required

Approximate Compensation for this Role: $100,406 - $110,000 per annum
Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire compensation. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
