Role Overview:
The Go-To-Market (GTM) Marketing Manager, Environmental Care and New Categories, is responsible for defining and delivering the category growth strategy for Environmental Care and New Categories in Singapore. The role owns category planning, investment prioritisation, commercial performance and go-to-market execution across all key consumer touchpoints.
This role provides strategic direction across cross-functional teams, influences senior stakeholders and ensures local business priorities are reflected in regional and global planning. It is accountable for achieving category growth KPIs and business performance through effective deployment of marketing resources and initiatives.
This includes launch planning, market development, ranging decisions, category investment planning and performance management, with a focus on translating regional and global strategies into commercially effective local execution.
This role reports directly to the Marketing Lead, Singapore. The role works in close collaboration with Sales, Retail, Media, Digital, CRM, Communications, Customer Service, Regional and Global teams, and external partners to deliver integrated, commercially effective category plans.
Key Responsibilities:
GTM Delivery & Commercial Performance Management:
Own delivery of the commercial plan for Environmental Care and New Categories in Singapore, with accountability for sell-out growth, market share, penetration and conversion. Lead the activations, initiatives and channel plans required to achieve category targets, using performance data to identify gaps, optimise execution and redirect activity where needed.
Category Strategy:
Define the category strategy, roadmap and go-to-market direction for Singapore, translating regional and global priorities into locally relevant plans. Lead launch planning, market development, portfolio priorities, ranging recommendations and campaign localisation, ensuring the right messaging, propositions and demand-generation activities to drive the Singapore business.
Investment & Cross-Functional Leadership:
Own category marketing investment planning and budget allocation across media, CRM, retail activations, events and strategic partnerships. Align local, regional and global stakeholders on priorities, investment choices and business objectives, while orchestrating Sales, Retail, Media, Digital, CRM and Communications teams to deliver integrated category plans.
About You:
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field. Background in Marketing, PR, category management or commercial planning is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, category management, commercial planning or go-to-market leadership roles, ideally within consumer electronics, FMCG or a premium brand environment.
- Demonstrated experience owning business performance, marketing investment decisions and cross-functional delivery.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end campaigns, product launches and category growth initiatives in a local market, with Singapore experience preferred.
- Experience managing budgets, investment planning and performance optimization.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead complex initiatives across multiple functions.
- Strong data-led approach, with the ability to translate performance, consumer and market insights into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence through clear, informed and logical storytelling.
- Experience coaching or developing junior team members is advantageous.
