Job Description

This position may be hired at Grade 18 or 19, with candidate leveling commensurate with experience. Candidates may be located in Illinois or New Jersey.

The Marketing Manager I/II, HCP - Oral Migraine is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing HCP marketing plans and programs needed to accelerate the growth of oral migraine. 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the patient and ensure that all marketing activities align with the needs of the target audience.
  • Develop and execute high-impact go-to market strategies that are innovative, executable, and clinically/financially supported to drive the MIGRAINE business. 
  • Requires the ability to understand and integrate customer feedback and research insights, monitoring progress against brand milestones to make strategic recommendations for optimal brand performance. 
  • Work with internal cross functions groups and external partners to insure integration and consistency of business strategies and regulatory compliance of promotional material.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of campaign strategies through campaign measurement and metrics development to ensure positive return on investment and achievement of brand objectives. 
  • Identify problems proactively and conceptualize solutions using creativity and innovation.
  • Effectively support marketing budget for area of responsibility.
  • Consistently manage multiple projects to deliver high-quality work product in a timely fashion.
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and recommend changes in strategy or tactics as appropriate
  • Think innovatively regarding the application of new technologies to marketing, particularly within a regulated environment
  • Proactively support the sales force through ongoing communications of marketing programs
  • Apply marketing concepts in the development of marketing plans and programs including brand positioning, brand architecture, SWOT analysis, competitive assessment, market research, marketing objectives/strategies, patient segmentation, etc.
  • Foster positive working relationships with the entire MIGRAINE marketing teams, sales force, medical affairs, market research, sales training, regulatory, and other cross franchise marketing teams. 
  • Work with various agencies and consultants, key opinion leaders, and co-marketing partners to successfully drive the business and achieve launch ambitions.
  • Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Marketing experience with proof of building proficiencies in all marketing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Previous marketing experience of 5+ years brand marketing/consumer promotion or equivalent experience with complex project management responsibility in medical/scientific function
  • Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with several types and levels of staff and external contacts, both in writing and verbally
  • Strong planning and organization skills, attention to detail, execution, and follow-through
