What we are looking for:

Nova seeks a Marketing Manager to drive the strategy for assigned product portfolios within the Dimensional Metrology Division.

As part of this role, you will hold accountability for identifying future market opportunities, customer technology trends, competitive dynamics, and portfolio gaps, while building a clear 3–5-year roadmap aligned with the division’s portfolio strategy.

In this role, you will own the Product Life Cycle through Gate 2, ensuring that new product opportunities are supported by a strong market opportunity, clear customer value proposition, and robust business case before transitioning to Product Customer Management.

You will work closely with strategic customers, CTO, Advanced Technology, R&D, Product Customer Management, and the Business Group to connect market needs with future technology and product development.

Role Responsibilities

What will you be doing:

  • Develop and maintain the strategy and 3–5-year roadmap for assigned product portfolios, aligned with the division’s portfolio strategy.
  • Build relationships with strategic customers to understand future technology roadmaps, emerging applications, and evolving customer needs.
  • Monitor customer technology challenges, market dynamics, competitive positioning, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities, threats, and portfolio gaps.
  • Develop business cases, TAM, SAM, and WFE analyses, market assessments, and recommendations that support portfolio investment decisions.
  • Own the Market Requirements Document, including product positioning, value proposition, pricing strategy, and market segmentation.
  • Partner with CTO, Advanced Technology, R&D, Product Customer Management, and the Business Group to align market needs with future technology and product development.
  • Present market analyses, business cases, and portfolio recommendations to support product and investment decisions.
  • Translate market and customer insights into clear priorities that help shape future product opportunities.
Requirements

Must Have requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Physics, Materials Science, Electronics, Optics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in the semiconductor equipment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor processes and equipment.
  • Experience in Applications, Product Marketing, Product Management, or a similar customer-facing technical/business role in a global technology company.
  • Strong business and strategic thinking, including market analysis, competitive assessment, and business case development.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with customers and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally frequently.
