The Role

Oversees marketing team in strategizing and implementing marketing campaigns. Relays information between upper management and department employees regarding budgets and daily procedures. Oversees implementation of marketing campaigns to promote GreenPoint Ag products. Successful candidate must be located in the GreenPoint Ag 10 state, SE United States footprint (Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana, Missouri, Texas, Arkansas, Kentucky)

  • Strategic Planning
    • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals.
    • Identify and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy.
    • Define strategies for audience segmentation that target key customer groups.
    • Utilize data and analytics to create detailed customer personas.
    • Continuously refine and optimize segmentation strategies based on performance data and market trends.
  • Digital Campaign Management
    • Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., social media, email, search engines, display advertising).
    • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Customer Experience Enhancement
    • Analyze and improve the digital customer journey and user experience on digital platforms.
    • Utilize customer feedback and analytics to make data-driven improvements.
  • Content Strategy and Management
    • Oversee the creation, curation, and distribution of engaging digital content.
    • Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
    • Execute personalized marketing campaigns tailored to the preferences and behaviors of different segments.
  • SEO and SEM Management
    • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
    • Manage SEM campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Use analytics tools to track and report on digital marketing performance.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize campaigns.
  • Technology and Tools Management
    • Evaluate and implement digital marketing tools and platforms to enhance capabilities.
    • Stay updated on emerging digital marketing technologies and trends.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with sales, product, and IT teams to ensure alignment and integration of digital initiatives.
    • Collaborate with external agencies and vendors when necessary.
  • Project Management
    • Oversee multiple digital projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
    • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  • Compliance and Best Practices
    • Ensure digital marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and best practices.
    • Maintain brand integrity and consistency across all digital channels.
  • Training and Development
    • Mentor and train team members on digital marketing best practices and new technologies.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

  • Supervises, hires, trains, provides work direction, and problem-solving assistance for employees. Also oversees the daily operations of other staff

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, advertising, or related field; Master's degree in marketing or business administration helpful
  • Must have 5+ years of marketing experience; experience in the agriculture industry helpful

  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and frameworks
  • Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis
  • Proficiency in managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Budget management and resource allocation skills
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles
  • Expertise in content creation, curation, and distribution
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
  • Data interpretation and reporting skills
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices
  • Leadership and mentoring skills
  • Expertise in audience segmentation techniques
  • Skills in executing and optimizing personalized marketing campaigns
  • Valid driver's license; must be able to meet a Motor Vehicle Review in accordance with Company policy

GreenPoint Ag operates 99 retail and wholesale agronomy locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas. Based in Decatur, Alabama, we also have regional offices in Memphis and LaVergne, Tennessee.
