THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As a Marketing Manager for the Czech Republic at Zalando, you will position Zalando as the leading fashion destination in the Czech market. You will manage all local marketing activities to further develop our brand KPIs and make Zalando a love brand. Acting as the guardian of the Zalando brand, you will ensure consistency in communication across various touchpoints.

This role is based in Berlin and relocation is necessary.

WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED…

The Marketing Manager identifies key customers, trends, and competitive insights to guide decision-making across Zalando and multiple stakeholders. You will analyse and identify commercial marketing levers to drive customer and business growth in the Czech market, monitoring the market and competitive landscape dynamics in-depth.

  • Manage Local Marketing Budget: Aim at maximising the effectiveness of our investment across all channels.

  • Annual Marketing Plan: Plan, orchestrate, and execute an annual marketing plan in close alignment with various company stakeholders and teams. Support the translation of the plan into efficient and optimised media strategy and individual media plans in collaboration with the media team.

  • Campaign Roll-out: Amplify Zalando global campaigns in the local markets, driving their relevance towards local customers and fitting commercial priorities. Activate and amplify Zalando propositions (e.g., fashion, sports, premium) ensuring a market-relevant mix.

  • Local Activations: Plan, brief, execute, and track local activations leveraging multiple touchpoints (from paid media, influencers, content creators to owned channels, newsletters, partnerships, and sponsorships) in collaboration with various cross-functional stakeholders and expert teams (e.g., consumer PR, corporate communications, retail).

  • Agency Management: Manage local agencies supporting Zalando in the growth journey (creative / influencer marketing / media agency in collaboration with the media team).

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • Marketing Generalist: You are a seasoned marketing generalist with 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in FMCG (additional experience in fashion, beauty, e-commerce is a plus). You have a proven track record in executing annual marketing plans contributing to strengthening brand funnel development and brand equity. Experience in influencer marketing is a plus.

  • Language Skills: You speak Czech fluently and are fluent in English.

  • Market Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the Czech market to win the hearts & minds of our consumers. You can provide insights into the local competitive landscape and market trends.

  • Campaign Execution: Experience in end-to-end full-funnel campaign execution and working with creative and media agencies (influencer marketing agency management is a plus)

  • Marketing Channels: Good understanding of various offline and online marketing channels and media, with knowledge of the influencer landscape.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to take into consideration competitive landscape, market, consumer insights, and trends, translating them into actionable market marketing strategy and initiatives driving growth.

  • Organisational Skills: Experienced in getting things done in a fast-paced, continuously changing matrix-structured organisational environment. A team player who is well-organised and comfortable steering several key projects with different stakeholders while acting as an owner & facilitator.
