Job Summary
The Marketing Manager creates a bridge between strategy and deliverables, combining B2B marketing strategy, creative, and project management expertise. They will own the development, management, and hands on execution of marketing campaigns and projects to drive new customer acquisition, brand awareness, customer engagement, and upselling existing customers using integrated campaign strategies. This includes content marketing, paid digital media, web conversion optimization, email, social, partner programs, direct mail, and industry events, as well as assisting with the execution of our annual user conference.
Successful candidates will use expert knowledge in both traditional and digital marketing; will be highly organized and attentive to details; will demonstrate confidence and mastery of the campaigns/projects they manage; and will provide effective mentorship and coaching to junior team members.
Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with Marketing leadership to identify, develop, manage, and execute a fully integrated marketing campaigns across all aspects of the customer journey from consideration through renewal; leveraging both traditional and digital marketing channels email, presentation slides, website, digital ads, paid online, print ads, direct mail, events, social, and partner programs.
  • Identify and engage prospects, nurturing a steady flow of marketing qualified leads while driving customer engagement and influencing upsell opportunities
  • Create engaging brand-aligned copy and manage the design of marketing campaign elements by partnering with internal Marketing Communications teammates, using outside vendors, or doing it yourself – moving prospects and existing customers into action
  • Support the management of the ZOLL Data Systems website as digital marketing hub, including SEO/SEM, design, content, info architecture, production, testing, and digital optimization, driving site visits and conversions.
  • Orchestrate the execution of campaign components, monitoring and reporting on campaign performance and striving to optimize and improve results
  • Assist with the management and execution of our annual user conference, by providing promotional support as well as coordinating logistics for key aspects of the event.
  • Assign tasks and effectively communicate objectives to production team, and project deliverables and status to stakeholders
  • Track internal/external marketing requests and deadlines, ensuring all deliverables are on track, within scope/budget, and meet quality standards
  • Partner with the Marketing Operations Manager and Marketing Specialist to ensure creative vision and tactical execution that aligns with mar-tech-stack capabilities and workflows
  • Manage creative and digital partners and vendors, including Designers, Copywriters, and PPC
  • Mentor junior members of the marketing team, providing coaching and professional development, encouraging collaboration, and maximizing productivity


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 3+ years B2B marketing experience, with an emphasis in digital marketing
  • Experience working in a Software, IT, SaaS, or Cloud Computing environment
  • Experience with HubSpot and Salesforce preferred
  • Experience working in the Healthcare, Fire, or EMS industry preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced level knowledge and management of multi-channel marketing campaign development/management and current marketing techniques/best practices (integrated marketing, audience segmentation, demand generation, customer lifecycle marketing, sales enablement, and digital marketing)
  • Excellent project management skills with proven ability to successfully and proactively manage and report out on all aspects of multiple initiatives, marketing metrics, and campaigns simultaneously use of Excel
  • Strong promotional copywriting and editing skills
  • Strong creative vision, utilizing writing, editing, and design abilities to guide and support that create high-impact, action-driving content, assets, and branding
  • Solid understanding of MarCom, workflows, and marketing project management solutions (Wrike, Teamwork, or similar tools)
  • Strong familiarity with marketing automation, CRM systems, and both email marketing and platforms
  • Detail oriented and analytical, able to proactively maintain organization, prioritize, and multi-task
  • Proactive and creative problem-solver who shows curiosity, cleverness, and a desire for continuous learning
  • Able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Open-minded, skilled at building strong, effective, and collaborative relationships across multiple levels of leadership and stakeholder groups (Product, Marketing, Sales, And Customer Success)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Office365 experience preferred)
     

The salary range for this role is 80K-110K . Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
