Job Title:   Marketing Manager, Alastin Skincare

Location:   Miami

Description

ALASTIN Skincare is seeking a Marketing Manager to play an integral part in a fast-paced, dynamic marketing team. This position will be responsible for the creation and execution of marketing strategy, communications and programs for the Alastin line of products to the customer. This position will collaborate with many different departments to advance the vision and strategy and will provide insight to help shape the overall visibility of Alastin to be more impactful in the market. This position will support the field while also aiding in the creation of marketing communications to our internal team, HCP partners and end-users.  The ideal candidate has a passion for the aesthetics, beauty and skincare industry, the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once; loves being a part of a close-knit team, problem solver, and is an extraordinary project manager.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the marketing team and key stakeholders to develop and implement a marketing strategy and execution tactics that deliver growth
  • Support the sales team, answering questions and providing guidance relative to programs and deliverables or triaging to appropriate team members.
  • Conduct consistent ongoing office visits to identify opportunities, hurdles and to see marketing programs in action.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and make sure the brand is knowledgeable on key market trends
  • Support the creation and management of a marketing calendar and ongoing marketing needs to fuel the brand:
    • Be a brand advocate and brand steward for all pieces and support
    • Help with seasonal promotional flyers, POP displays, social assets, and bounce back cards plus any additional ad hoc requests.
    • Support development of new marketing and merchandising materials
    • Lead coordination efforts for any pack-outs, GWP programs and campaigns
  • Partner with channel marketing to develop promotional calendars to support sell in and sell thru, as well as evaluating performance to inform future ideas promotions, and keep track of all initiatives in a marketing calendar to ensure they are up to date.
  • Support the development of new Marketing materials to support the field and end users
  • Update and maintain key team documents related to asset management, brand/product messaging, pricing, and marketing materials.
  • Manage marketing material and promotional inventory, and update marketing and sales team members on the current situation.
  • Manage the tradeshow artwork needs, which includes booth visuals and event needs as well as any shipments required.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the industry and competitors; identify and translate market trends and market research to create new ideas for professional pieces and communication!
  • Complete packaging and other ad hoc artwork as needed with freelance designer
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as graphic design, education, professional relations, and digital and clinical teams to execute marketing plans.
  • Develop effective working relationships with Regulatory, Legal, Medical and Compliance counterparts to ensure all creative meet requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college/university required
  • 5+ years CPG or OTC health care industry experience working in marketing with increasing levels of responsibility and proven track record of driving penetration and profitable growth
  • Must have 1-3 years of personal care/skin care/skin health experience
  • Shows a can-do attitude and are an avid team player
  • Prioritizes tasks and maintains focus of the overall desired goal
  • Structured, yet flexible
  • Highly analytical, able to measure and track the effectiveness and efficiency of brand strategies, tactics
  • Excellent collaborator, able to work across functions
  • Innovative marketer.  Challenges the status quo and creates new ideas, processes, and products. Is experimental and takes calculated risks to gain business advantage
  • Demonstrated brand management expertise (consumer insights through market research, positioning, concept development and validation, advertising and 360 comms development, P&L management).
  • Sense of urgency with bias to speed and action
  • Demonstrate a high level of change agility, flexing to deliver on consumer and shopper and retailer trends and needs
  • Good listener, able to listen to consumer and shopper needs as well as senior management asks to then make strategic recommendations that deliver against external and internal needs.
