The Marketing Manager, Account-Based Marketing & Sales is an in-house, on-site, hands-on role responsible for serving as an internal creative partner to the commercial organization.
This position develops highly customized account-specific marketing materials that support the organization’s highest-priority accounts and strategic sales opportunities, translating account strategies, customer needs, and business objectives into compelling content that helps sales teams advance opportunities and strengthen customer engagement.
The ideal candidate is equal parts marketer, designer, storyteller, and project manager, with a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design quality, audience customization, execution discipline, deadline management, and measurable business impact.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and execute customized account-based marketing initiatives for a focused set of strategic accounts and priority opportunities.
• Partner closely with sales, commercial, business development, and leadership teams to understand account objectives, customer challenges, decision- makers, and competitive considerations.
• Personally create professional presentations, one-pagers, collateral, case studies, proposals, customer profiles, digital content, and sales enablement tools tailored to specific audiences.
• Translate complex business, technical, clinical, product, or market information into clear, persuasive visual stories and customer-focused messaging.
• Build materials from the ground up and tailor design, content, and value propositions by account, stakeholder, industry, and stage of the sales process.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from intake and concept through review, revision, approval, and final delivery.
• Establish timelines, clarify requirements, coordinate stakeholder reviews, communicate project status, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities, urgent commercial needs, and multiple rounds of revisions while maintaining quality and professionalism.
• Ensure deliverables are accurate, visually compelling, brand-aligned, and consistent across copy, layout, typography, imagery, and data presentation.
• Organize creative assets, source files, templates, and final deliverables to support version control, reuse, and efficient production.
• Establish measurable objectives and track the influence of materials on account engagement, opportunity progression, sales activity, content adoption, turnaround time, or other defined business outcomes.
• Document quantitative results where possible, such as improved stakeholder adoption, shortened turnaround times, increased sales engagement, opportunity advancement, content usage, or other measurable outcomes tied to strategic-account support.
• Gather stakeholder feedback, identify process improvements, and develop reusable frameworks without sacrificing account-level customization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Five to ten years of hands-on experience in marketing, account-based marketing, sales enablement, content development, presentation design, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience personally creating customized marketing content and visual materials rather than primarily directing agencies or broad-based programs.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and one or more creative design platforms, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or comparable tools.
• Strong capabilities in graphic design, layout, visual storytelling, branding, presentation development, writing, editing, and business storytelling.
• Proven project-management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple assignments under tight deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, consistency, responsiveness, and presentation quality.
• Portfolio required, demonstrating polished presentations, one-pagers, sales enablement tools, account-based campaigns, proposal materials, digital content, creative projects, examples of meeting tight deadlines, and quantitative or business-impact results where available.
• Ability and willingness to work full-time on-site

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks, projects, priorities, deadlines, and revisions.

• Self-directed, accountable, energetic, and eager to tackle new projects and ideas with minimal supervision.
• Flexible, adaptable, mission-driven, and comfortable with ambiguity and change.
• Collaborative, responsive, service-oriented, and able to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and across multiple sites.
