About the Role:

We are looking for a Marketing Lead to drive the next phase of growth for our brand OTOTO. This role is critical to elevating OTOTO’s brand positioning, digital presence, and performance across key markets. Reporting to the BU Leader and working closely with the founders, you will define and execute a digital-first marketing strategy focused on reach, engagement, and brand desirability, particularly across Instagram and TikTok.


You will lead and guide the Philippine-based marketing team, ensuring campaigns, aesthetics, and storytelling resonate with our customers and audiences. This is a role with strong execution expectations. You must be equally comfortable building the annual strategy and personally launching campaigns.


Over time, this role is expected to own OTOTO’s full digital ecosystem, including DTC (Shopify), TikTok (including TikTok Shop), CRM flows, influencer programs, and broader brand communication across channels.


What You'll Do:

  • Build and execute the annual marketing strategy with a strong digital-first focus.
  • Elevate brand aesthetics, messaging, and storytelling to compete effectively in the novelty and lifestyle space.
  • Act as the bridge between the founders, leadership and the execution team, ensuring brand coherence and market relevance.
  • Own the brand’s end-to-end digital presence, developing and executing strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and our DTC website to drive reach, engagement, and revenue.
  • Support DTC initiatives including promotional calendars, seasonal drops, and product storytelling.
  • Develop and scale influencer and creator partnerships.
  • Drive user-generated content strategy and community building.
  • Define campaign success metrics (engagement, reach, conversion contribution) and optimize accordingly.
  • Translate insights into sharper content and performance improvements.
  • Lead seasonal and thematic campaigns end-to-end (brief → execution → performance analysis).
  • Be hands-on in launching and managing campaigns when needed
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to ensure output matches brand standards.
  • Oversee Amazon affiliate initiatives (not direct Amazon channel management).
  • Develop and execute CRM strategies (email, lifecycle marketing) to drive retention, LTV, and repeat purchase.
  • Lead, mentor, and strengthen the Philippines-based marketing team to drive performance and growth.
  • Push for higher standards in execution, creativity, and performance.
  • Create clear priorities and accountability structures.
  • Drive proactive execution rather than reactive task management.


What You Are:

  • With 4–5 years of experience in digital marketing, brand marketing, or growth roles.
  • Strong brand instinct with the ability to translate positioning into compelling digital storytelling.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing social media campaigns
  • Comfortable owning a digital P&L or contributing to revenue forecasting.
  • Deep understanding of Western consumer culture (US/Europe).
  • Proven ability to grow reach and engagement through digital-first strategies.
  • Experience creating scalable systems, processes, and playbooks — not just campaigns.
  • Experience working with influencers, creators, and UGC.
  • Comfortable defining annual strategy and executing campaigns yourself.
  • Strong campaign management skills across multiple channels.
  • Experience in DTC/e-commerce brands (Shopify exposure is a strong plus).
  • Data-driven and comfortable working with engagement metrics and testing.
  • Confident leading remote or distributed teams and elevating standards.
  • Commercially minded and growth-oriented.
  • Experience optimizing conversion rate (CRO) and improving the full funnel from awareness to purchase.
  • Strong understanding of paid social and performance marketing fundamentals (even if not hands-on daily).
  • Familiarity with retention marketing strategies (CRM mainly).
