In this role, you will shape how Citi and its partners acquire, engage, and retain customers, building marketing programs that deliver measurable growth across acquisitions, spend, and loyalty. You will sit at the intersection of partner management, marketing execution, and program delivery, leading a team of program managers while influencing strategy at the most senior levels of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of annual marketing strategies for retailer partnership portfolios, with clear goals across acquisitions, customer engagement, spend, loyalty, and retention.
  • Act as the senior day-to-day partner contact, driving alignment between Citi and external partners to build collaborative, high-performing marketing programs.
  • Manage the full program lifecycle from identifying requirements and planning resources to coordinating cross-functional execution and tracking performance against objectives.
  • Oversee and develop a team of program managers, setting clear priorities, managing resource allocation, and maintaining a high standard of delivery across all active projects.
  • Contribute to the marketing technology and automation roadmap, identifying opportunities to improve campaign delivery, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Run the project steering committee, keeping senior stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and priorities aligned to business strategy.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and communication frameworks that provide real-time visibility into program health, team performance, and key metrics.
  • Secure internal approvals and alignment on new campaigns, removing barriers and ensuring flawless execution in partnership with existing customer marketing and acquisitions teams.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 10 or more years of experience, including 8 or more years within financial services marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent university education.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver marketing strategies that drive measurable outcomes including acquisitions, revenue, and customer engagement.
  • Skilled at leading and influencing cross-functional teams across internal and external stakeholders, with a track record of building productive partnerships.
  • Strong planning, forecasting, and analytical capabilities, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and communicate performance clearly.
  • Clear, confident communicator who can operate at a senior level both in presenting strategy and resolving issues with urgency and clarity.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in co-brand and credit card marketing, with familiarity of the dynamics that drive partner portfolio growth.
  • Background in private label credit cards or consumer finance, with an understanding of how product and marketing strategy intersect in retail banking partnerships.
  • Background in digital marketing or customer acquisitions, with the ability to apply channel-level insight to broader marketing strategy.
  • Intellectually curious, with a growth mindset and genuine passion for the role marketing plays in shaping customer relationships.
