BITCO Corporation is currently seeking a Marketing Intern to join our Home Office team in Davenport, IA for Summer 2026. With 11 branch offices in 10 states, BITCO provides quality insurance services to special industries including construction, energy, and forest products.
About the Program:
BITCO's summer internship program is designed to provide educational and professional opportunities to students pursuing careers in commercial insurance or business-related fields. Interns will be assigned a variety of work that will help them develop the skills needed to succeed in their career. In addition to on-the-job experience, interns will have the opportunity to:

Position Summary:
The focus of this position is to develop knowledge about corporate Marketing and Insurance functions, and the specialty market place. Interns focus on developing the skills necessary for success by working with and assisting professionals with day-to-day job assignments and special projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating content for newsletters, blogs, social media
- Draft copy for marketing emails, landing pages, and website updates
- Proofread and edit marketing materials to ensure brand consistency and accuracy
- Support video and multimedia projects
- Schedule and publish social media posts across platforms
- Assist with basic graphic design using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Help update marketing templates, presentations, and branded materials
- Assist in preparing materials for tradeshow events
- Actively participate in summer internship program events, such as lunch and learns, training, and networking
- Develop business knowledge and acumen through interactions and shadowing with other professionals
- Attend regular department or business unit meetings
- Create and deliver presentations
- Other tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing, or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with content creation and social media management.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage a variety of project simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and collaborate in a team environment.
- Must be dependable and available to work for the duration of the internship program.
