Helen of Troy is seeking a Marketing Intern to support our Marketing as well as our Customer Marketing team for our Health Home and Beauty brands. Our internships are focused on supporting a multitude of world-class brands that offer innovative products used every day by millions of people around the world.
We will empower our interns with opportunities to deliver on business challenges aligned to their field of study – all while working right alongside field professionals and leaders who will support enhancing our interns’ skills and experience. Intern activity participation may include but is not limited to: comprehensive onboarding, operational duties in their department, project-based duties, virtual speaker series with senior leaders, networking opportunities, job shadowing, and presentations.
Experience You Will Gain:
During your internship within our company, your mission will be to offer day to day support and assistance to the EMEA Marketing and Customer Marketing team across all brands (Health, Home, Beauty). This is an opportunity to get a first exposure to the business and develop an understanding of Product/Brand and Customer Marketing roles. Your main activities will include the following:
- Assist Customer Marketing and Brand Marketing with developing key marketing initiatives, product launches and development of communication materials
- Briefing and coordinating agencies for development of communication materials e.g. POS and digital assets
- Manage relationships with external content providers
- Managing the artwork and subsequent approval process with stakeholders
- Responsible for internal process e.g. creation of POS and product codes, approval of materials via online portal, ordering samples, raising purchase requisitions
- Adaptation of assets
- Coordination of translations
- Product management support
- Providing support for sales team requests
- Monthly updates, best practice sharing
- Administrative and process support
Your profile
You are looking for a first professional experience in line you’re your studies (Business Administration and Marketing or equivalent) and need a practical experience. You are flexible, able to prioritize, proactive and can work with a good level of autonomy. With hands-on and solution-driven attitude, you possess good communication skills making you a strong team player.
Qualification for consideration
- University degree, with Marketing understanding
- English fluent, French or any other language is an asset
- MS Office knowledge (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
