Summary Generated by Built In

We’re looking for a Marketing Intern to join the Contentoo team and help us turn good ideas into things people actually see.

This is a social and content-first role for someone who likes writing, design, internet culture, and making things. You might be a writer with a good visual eye, a designer who understands content, or somewhere in between.

You'll work with our Content Lead and Content Marketer, and you’ll help drive social media, campaigns, thought leadership, and podcasts. You'll start with hands-on execution and gain more ownership as you grow, all while collaborating with our wider team of specialists across events, SEO, design, video, and growth.

We're a small team, which means you won't spend six months doing one tiny corner of Marketing. You'll get to see how ideas go from “we should do something about this” to an actual campaign, post, page, podcast, or piece of content in the world.

About Contentoo

Contentoo helps global marketing teams scale content without turning their marketers into project managers.

We combine human expertise, technology, and managed content operations to take more of the production and coordination burden off marketing teams — so they can spend more time on the work that actually needs their judgement.

We're based in Amsterdam and work with ambitious marketing teams across Europe and beyond.

What you’ll be doing

A big part of the role is helping us get more mileage out of the ideas and content we already create.

You’ll help:

  • Publish and schedule social content

  • Engage with our community and keep an eye on conversations

  • Turn podcasts, reports, customer stories and existing content into new social formats

  • Create and adapt carousels, memes, quote cards, screenshots and other social assets

  • Support our employee advocacy and thought-leadership programmes

  • Help maintain our content and social calendars

  • Upload and format content on our website

  • Keep our content library, customer proof and marketing assets organised and up to date

  • Support campaigns with research, assets, distribution and reporting

  • Research competitors, trends and interesting things happening across marketing

  • Help with podcast, thought-leadership and event research

  • Spot good content worth giving a second (or third) life

You won't necessarily arrive knowing how to do all of this. That's the point!

Who we’re looking for

We're less interested in finding someone who already knows every marketing acronym and more interested in someone with taste, curiosity, and initiative.

You might be a good fit if:

  • You love writing or design — ideally with an interest in both

  • You understand what makes something interesting on social

  • You're curious about marketing, brands and internet culture

  • You notice good ideas, good copy and good creative

  • You're organised and care about the small details

  • You're comfortable learning new tools and figuring things out

  • You can take a clear brief and increasingly run with it

  • You have ideas of your own and aren't afraid to suggest them

  • You can start in October and are available 24-40h per week

Figma skills are a big bonus.

Experience with CMSs, social scheduling, SEO, AI tools or other marketing platforms is nice to have, but none of it is essential.

Video editing skills are also welcome, but this isn't a video-first role.

What you’ll learn

We want this to be an internship where you leave considerably better at marketing than when you arrived.

You'll get exposure to how a small Marketing team works across:

  • Social and content strategy

  • Brand and creative

  • Campaigns

  • Thought leadership

  • SEO and AI search

  • Customer and market research

  • Events and community

  • Product Marketing

  • B2B demand generation

  • Marketing performance and experimentation

You'll start by supporting the team with production and execution, but the goal is for you to take on more progressively.

Spot a meme opportunity? Make it.

Think there's a better hook? Tell us.

Find something interesting in the research? Bring it in.

Have an idea we haven't thought of? Even better.

What you'll get
  • A front-row seat to modern B2B marketing and the future of content

  • The chance to learn directly from experienced marketers in branding, ABM, and demand gen

  • The opportunity to experiment with leading AI tools and platforms

  • A €600 monthly internship compensation based on a full-time (40h) internship. If you can't/don't want to work full-time, we are open to 24- 32 h per week too!

  • Free lunch at the office

  • Hybrid work environment (great office at the Houthavens + remote flexibility)

  • A bar in the office. Who doesn’t want a bar in their office?!

  • A fun, inclusive team — with rooftop drinks, Mario Kart battles, boat days, and more

Sounds interesting?

Let's have a virtual coffee to get to know each other! :)
