Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated, creative and data savvy marketing intern to join our team this summer. As the PR & Social Media coordinator, your focus will be on helping us to devise and implement our PR & Social Media strategy.
Key responsibilities
Manage Social Media marketing campaigns including:
- Daily maintenance of social media pages and content, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube
- Monitor, listen and engage with users
- Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts
- Identify/ curate relevant content opportunities
- Compile report for management showing results (ROI)
Support PR development efforts including:
- Create and maintain media lists
- Identify opportunities / pitch media
This is an ideal position for a highly motivated individual with some experience and a passion for PR, content strategy, blogging, and community participation. A self-starter who is willing to learn, enjoys technology, and is enthusiastic about working in a fast paced, start-up environment.
Qualifications- Pursuing degree in Public Relations, Marketing Communications, Journalism or other Business related field
- An active participant in social media
- Strong creative and writing skills
- Must be proactive, and have the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment,
- Detailed-oriented, organized and able to work under tight deadline
