The Donaldson internship program provides innovative students with meaningful, hands-on experience in a collaborative industry environment. Through real-world projects, mentorship, and development opportunities, we aim to support career growth and build a talent pipeline aligned with our values and goals. This internship takes place in Bloomington, MN, during an 10-12-week period.
As an Analyst Intern, you will support the team in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to help drive informed business decisions. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in business, economics, data science, finance, or related fields who are eager to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges.
Role Responsibilities:
o Collect, clean, and organize datasets from various sources.
o Perform basic statistical analysis and create visual reports.
o Assist in preparing presentations and dashboards for stakeholders.
o Support market research, competitor analysis, and trend identification.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights.
o Document processes, findings, and recommendations clearly.
Learning Opportunities:
o Hands-on experience with real business datasets.
o Exposure to industry-standard analytics tools and methodologies.
o Mentorship from experienced analysts and business leaders.
Minimum Qualifications:
o Currently enrolled undergraduate rising junior or rising senior in an accredited degree program pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, statistics, mathematics, management information systems or related field.
o Proficiency in Excel.
o Proficiency with AI tools.
o Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Snowflake or similar tool.
Preferred Qualifications:
o Familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
Hourly Pay Range: $19.00 - 24.00, depending on projected undergraduate graduation date, educational degree in progress and major of study upon time of hire.
This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.
