The Role
Develop and execute B2B marketing, demand generation, account-based marketing, content, sales enablement, and go-to-market initiatives supporting JOLT’s U.S. advertising business. Partner with media sales and commercial leaders, create collateral and thought leadership, manage LinkedIn and newsletter channels, identify priority accounts, and use data to measure and optimize growth. The role is Toronto-based with regular travel to the U.S. and collaboration across international markets.
Summary Generated by Built In

We’re looking for a smart, driven marketer who wants to help build JOLT’s U.S. advertising business — and build their career alongside it.

JOLT sits at the intersection of media, EV technology and data. As our U.S. advertising business grows, you’ll help shape how we take JOLT to market and how Marketing contributes directly to that growth.

Based in Toronto, you’ll primarily support our growing U.S. business, with contribution to projects across JOLT’s other international markets.

You’ll work closely with Marketing, Media Sales and senior commercial leaders to grow JOLT’s presence with advertisers, agencies, media planners and buyers. You’ll help build a targeted, data-led approach to marketing — from engaging new prospects and developing account-based programs to strengthening client communications and creating content and materials that drive commercial growth.

It’s a hands-on role with plenty of exposure and responsibility. You’ll solve real business challenges and take meaningful projects from opportunity through to execution and impact. Success will be measured by the impact of what you deliver — not simply the volume of activity.

We move fast, have ambitious goals and priorities evolve. You’ll thrive here if you take initiative, are commercially curious, resourceful, highly organised and love turning ideas into action.

Media Sales Enablement & Go-to-Market Planning/Execution

    • Partner closely with Media Sales to understand client needs, opportunities and commercial priorities.

    • Develop sales collateral, presentations, case studies and go-to-market materials that bring JOLT’s proposition and results to life.

    • Support launches and growth initiatives around new capabilities data/technology capabilities, partnerships and priority advertiser categories.

Demand Generation, Growth & Account-Based Marketing

    • Develop targeted marketing initiatives that build awareness, engagement, leads and commercial opportunities.

    • Identify priority audiences, accounts and categories and develop programs that engage them.

    • Use data to measure performance, understand what’s working and continually optimise our approach.

Content, Client Communications & Thought Leadership

    • Develop content and communications that build JOLT’s visibility and credibility with advertisers, agencies and media decision-makers.

    • Drive LinkedIn, newsletters and other B2B channels to grow relevant audiences, engagement and commercial opportunities.

    • Turn campaigns, data, insights and industry trends into compelling content and client stories.

About You

You’re an ambitious marketer who’s ready to take on more. You have high standards, good judgement and a strong internal drive — you take ownership, spot opportunities, ask smart, candid questions and figure things out.

You’ll typically bring around 4–7 years of experience across marketing, growth marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, B2B marketing, content, sales enablement, media or advertising. You’re a strong marketing generalist, likely with deeper experience in one or more of these areas.

You’ll probably recognise yourself in most of the following:

    • You’re comfortable with pace, change and ambiguity. You’re organised, outcomes-focused, roll up your sleeves, learn quickly and don’t need every step mapped out before getting started.

    • You’re a strong collaborator who enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams, while being comfortable taking ownership and getting things done independently.

    • You’re commercially curious and want to understand the why behind the work, not simply execute a brief.

    • Experience working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial or scale-up environment is highly valued.

    • You’re confident using AI and automation, and actively look for smarter, faster and more effective ways to work. You’re comfortable experimenting with new tools and building repeatable ways of working.

    • You understand the advertising/marketing and media ecosystem and how advertisers, agencies, media planners and buyers work. Experience across media, ad tech, digital advertising, programmatic or DOOH is a strong advantage, and if not - proof you’re eager to learn.

    • You’re comfortable with modern marketing/business tools and platforms. Experience with Salesforce, Braze, LinkedIn, Canva, Figma and Photoshop, lead gen/prospecting tools.

    • Experience creating content, including video production, is a bonus — as is an eagerness to learn and experiment with new formats. You have a strong eye for design.

    • You’re comfortable travelling regularly to the U.S. to collaborate in person with our East and West Coast teams.

    • A degree in business, marketing, communications, advertising, PR or media is preferred.

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to accelerate your career by doing work you might have to wait much longer to own somewhere else.

You’ll get meaningful exposure to the U.S. market, and other markets globally, work closely with senior leaders and commercial teams, and take projects from an initial idea all the way through to market and measurable impact.

JOLT’s U.S. business is growing, which means there’s plenty still to build. You won’t inherit a perfectly polished marketing playbook — you’ll help create and improve it.

You’ll have the freedom to experiment, build skills across disciplines and take on more as your capability grows. We’ll give you access, trust and opportunities — and expect you to make something of them.

For someone curious, motivated and keen to accelerate their career, there’s a lot here to get your teeth into.

The Details

Skills Required

  • Degree in business, marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, or media
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to the United States
