About the Role
The Marketing Generalist executes the campaigns that generate new business pipeline. You will report to the Director of Demand Generation and work across every Demand Gen Manager on the team to build, launch, and measure campaigns spanning email, paid media, landing pages, and lead capture.
This is a broad role within demand generation. Rather than owning one channel, you work across all of them, and you are the person the team counts on to get campaigns out the door accurately and on schedule. Long-form content and creative production sit with our Content and Brand teams. You write the campaign copy that carries their work into market: nurture emails, subject lines, landing page copy, and calls to action.
We are looking for someone who can do the work on day one: write and build a nurture sequence in HubSpot, stand up a landing page, catch the errors in a campaign before it ships, and pull the funnel numbers that show whether it performed.
What You Will Do
Campaign execution
Build and launch campaigns end to end across email, paid, landing pages, and lead capture, working from briefs set by the Demand Gen Managers and the Director
Keep the campaign calendar accurate and visible, flag conflicts and dependencies early, and chase the assets, approvals, and copy needed to hit go-live dates
Quality check campaigns before they ship: links, tracking, forms, routing, rendering, and audience
Brief and coordinate with the Content, Brand, and Marketing Operations teams to get long-form content, creative, and technical support in on time
Monitor lead handoff to sales: watch routing, catch leads that stall, and close the loop with the sales team on lead quality
Marketing automation, email, and campaign copy
Help develop nurture programs end to end: map the sequence, write the emails, build the workflow in HubSpot, and report on what converts
Write campaign copy that performs: nurture and promotional emails, subject lines, form and call to action copy, and ad copy variants for testing
Adapt assets from the Content and Brand teams into demand gen formats without losing brand voice
Build and deploy emails, workflows, and lists in HubSpot
Partner with Marketing Operations on list hygiene and deliverability practices: documented list sources, opted-in contacts only, and no purchased or scraped lists
Landing pages and conversion
Build and update landing pages for campaigns and offers, writing and adapting page copy around approved messaging and creative
Run structured tests on headlines, offers, forms, and calls to action, and document what we learn
Partner with Marketing Operations on the website and form infrastructure behind those pages
Reporting and campaign operations
Maintain UTM, naming, and tracking discipline so every campaign is measurable
Pull and distribute recurring campaign and funnel reporting, including lead and MQL volume by source and campaign
Bring the team a clear read on what performed, what did not, and what you would change
Team support
Run the demand gen side of webinars and events: registration pages, reminder sequences, and the follow-up motion that converts attendees into qualified leads
Take on what the team needs, whether that is a rush build, a list pull, vendor coordination, or an audience research request
Document processes as you go so repeat work gets faster every cycle
What You Bring
Required
1 to 3 years of hands-on demand generation, growth, or campaign marketing experience, ideally at a B2B SaaS company
Working proficiency in a marketing automation platform (HubSpot strongly preferred) and comfort operating in a CRM (Salesforce preferred)
Proven experience building and launching landing pages and emails, including the forms, tracking, and lead routing behind them
Strong project management skills: you track details, hit dates, and communicate status without being asked
Comfort with numbers: you can pull a campaign report, read it, and explain what it means
Demonstrated marketing copywriting ability: you can write a nurture sequence, a subject line that gets opened, and landing page copy that converts, and match an established brand voice
A bias toward shipping. You would rather get a good campaign live this week than a perfect one next month
Preferred
Experience marketing to non-technical buyers such as small business owners, administrators, or operations staff
Paid media familiarity across Google Ads, Meta, or LinkedIn, even at a supporting level
Experience with webinars, virtual events, or e-commerce funnels
Basic HTML or CSS comfort for light email template and landing page edits
Comfort using AI tools in your workflow to draft, test, and iterate on campaign copy faster
Work samples you can walk us through: a nurture sequence, landing page, or campaign you wrote and built
Physical Considerations
Ability to work in a general office environment.
Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work, including telephone.
Travel Considerations
Domestic and/or international travel required, estimated up to 10%.
