Position Summary:
The Marketing Finance Specialist is responsible for leading financial execution and reporting, as well as resource planning & capacity report outs for the Creative Innovation Studio. Candidates should have excellent attention to detail, some experience with budgets, and will be responsible for working within our purchasing systems to execute vendor payments – completing and submitting requestions, PO approvals, invoice submissions & tracking payments, and processing time sensitive rent payment requests to support our Photo & Video Lab site.
The Marketing Finance Specialist will support resource allocation, ensuring that projects and tasks are assigned out to the applicable squad for creative execution. The candidate will also report out weekly on available capacity to help ensure balanced workloads across the weeks.
LOCATION: On-site in Pittsburgh, PA. Relocation assistance is NOT provided.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Supplier Funded finance tracking – working within the team to ensure projects are completing, monitor actual vs plan for supplier invoicing and provide tracking support.
- Manage invoicing process – submit for requisitions, route for PO#s, ensure all invoices are submitted and tracked to the correct account.
- Expense tracking – comparing estimates to actuals
- Resource incoming projects, ensuring that the work is assigned to the correct team to complete
- Generate monthly finance reports, govern department wide time tracking and work with Finance partners to ensure allocations are correctly cross charged to internal business partners
- Weekly team capacity report outs
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, web, or related field or equivalent work experience
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years’ related experience
- Microsoft Office, with a focus in Excel
- Workfront project management system experience is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, ability to organize and summarize information to communicate key points
- Self-motivated individual with a focus on predictive & proactive planning
- Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work with multiple team members across departments in a collaborative and professional way
