The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager of Marketing, this role contributes to the development and delivery of mid and lower funnel marketing objectives across the Australian market for Fisher & Paykel and Haier.

You will play an important role in translating commercial and product priorities into market-relevant insights, marketing plans and local activation that drive consideration, conversion and commercial outcomes.

Working closely with product management, sales teams, retail partners, global marketing teams and specialist agencies, you will support the planning, execution, measurement and optimisation of marketing activity across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.

This is a broad marketing role offering exposure across product marketing, retail marketing, digital, brand, performance and commercial marketing within a complex global organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Planning & Commercial Delivery

  • Partner with the GM of Marketing to support the development of marketing objectives aligned to commercial priorities and business goals.
  • Contribute to short and long-term marketing planning cycles using customer insight, market data and commercial understanding.
  • Translate product, market and commercial priorities into actionable marketing plans.
  • Support marketing investment tracking and budget management to ensure effective allocation of marketing spend.
  • Contribute insights and recommendations that support marketing effectiveness and commercial outcomes.

Product Marketing & Market Activation

  • Support the development and execution of product marketing activity including NPIs, promotions and category initiatives.
  • Coordinate local market activation across Retail, Builder, Customer Experience and eCommerce channels.
  • Contribute to successful product launches by coordinating cross-functional activity and ensuring marketing materials are delivered on time.
  • Adapt global campaigns, content and toolkits to meet local market requirements.
  • Ensure all customer touchpoints remain aligned to the Fisher & Paykel and Haier brand propositions.

Campaign Execution & Performance

  • Coordinate local marketing activity across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Support the execution, measurement and optimisation of campaigns across brand, digital and retail channels.
  • Analyse campaign performance, sell-out trends, funnel metrics and market performance.
  • Consolidate reporting and provide performance insights to support decision-making.
  • Bring forward data-led recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness and ROI.

Stakeholder & Agency Management

  • Act as a key coordination point between the GM of Marketing and local and global marketing teams.
  • Work closely with product, sales, retail and global stakeholders.
  • Support relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring activity is delivered to brief, budget and timelines.
  • Prepare marketing plans, presentations, reporting updates and internal communications.

About You

You are a commercially minded marketing professional who enjoys connecting strategy with execution. You bring strong organisational capability, analytical thinking and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.

You will bring

  • 5–7 years’ experience in a generalist marketing role.
  • Experience within consumer goods, retail, premium brands or B2C environments.
  • Experience supporting or leading multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital, retail and performance marketing.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical capability and confidence working with marketing performance data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • The confidence to challenge constructively, think commercially and take ownership.

Experience working within a global or matrix organisation will be highly regarded.
