Marketing Executive job description

Marketing Executive role is responsible for managing marketing operations for Fragrance & Beauty Department. It includes overseeing product marketing, trade marketing, and visual merchandising ensuring strong brand image and enhancing customer experience. Reporting to Marketing Manager, and working closely with local and regional teams driving brand presence, product awareness, and sales, ensuring that all marketing activities align with the brand's global strategy and marketing plan.

Product Marketing:

  • Supporting over 3 categories management (fragrance, makeup & skincare), ensure local product strategy delivery.
  • Manage product launches, which includes forecasting & further operational launch support (control product and SPM arrivals and distribution, develop POS merchandising guidelines, maintain POS decoration change, update assortment list with prices, manage PIM).
  • Coordinate launch strategies flawless execution within all local and regional teams. Ensure that all campaigns reflect marketing strategy.
  • Serve as the main contact point to regional product teams, be updated on all key changes in campaigns. Maintain Marketing calendar, VM orchestration, and control visual rights extension request with Global Division.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvements based on data analysis.

Visual Merchandizing:

  • Oversee the execution of Visual Merchandising strategies to ensure in-store displays are updated and reflect the brand’s ultimate image.
  • Control over POS database update, implementation of merchandizing guidelines in collaboration with commercial team.
  • Manage VM materials yearly forecast, order, and distribution in line with a given budget.
  • Fully manage SPM materials local production when needed for WS and Retail in line with Global AD guidelines.
  • Regularly visit stores to ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards and provide feedback for improvement.

Trade Marketing:

  • Assist in planning and executing customer events in Retail.
  • Assist in image trade events organization and implementation.
  • Manage small trade activation within animation calendar that enhance brand visibility and drive sales in WS environment.
  • Track and report on the performance of trade marketing initiatives against key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust to maximize the future impact.

Market Data Analysis & reporting:

  • Prepare regular reports on marketing activities and campaigns performance for review by the Marketing Manager and region.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on local data analysis to optimize future marketing strategies.
  • Provide competitors price analysis for region before price increase waves.
  • Conduct constant market research to identify local trends, consumer insights, and competitors initiatives.

Other Duties:

  • Assist in managing the local marketing budget, ensuring that all activities are cost-effective and deliver a strong return on investment.
  • Governance over the F&B translations with the support of Training Manager.
  • Control over PR kits sending with accordance to PR plan.

Additionally, the Company may ask the Employee to perform other tasks that are consistent with her training, experience, and title.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Turkish is mandatory. Fluency in English both written and spoken.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the luxury goods or cosmetics industry.
  • Strong understanding of luxury branding and the ability to adapt brand strategies to the local market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with local teams and partners.
  • Experience in trade marketing and visual merchandising, with a strong understanding of VM principles.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Passion for luxury cosmetics and a deep understanding of the local beauty market.
