Job Description:

For our Strategic Business Excellence (SBE) Team in Munich we are looking for support as:

Marketing Excellence Lead DACH (f/m/d)

This role leads the integration of digital strategy, marketing excellence, and strategic insights within the DACH region. Its purpose is to drive transformation across brand planning, campaign execution, forecasting and market analytics — ensuring customer-centric activation, data-driven decision-making, and alignment with Ipsen’s global Strategic Business Excellence objectives.

Your responsibilities

  • Shape and lead the Digital Strategy for DACH, including roadmap creation and hands-on implementation.

  • Act as a change agent, guiding and upskilling marketing teams through digital transformation.

  • Ensure state-of-the-art campaign planning and execution, improving customer experience through feedback measurement.

  • Oversee brand planning, providing strategic insights based on market and sales performance.

  • Develop a standardized approach to track in-market brand performance across the organization.

  • Collaborate with Brand and Business Excellence teams to prepare internal and global reviews.

  • Streamline and manage forecasting processes and assess their impact on market and brand performance.

  • Uplift own team & Brand team analytical & insight generation capabilities

Qualifications required

  • Completed university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Media Studies or a comparable field. Alternatively, a degree in Computer Science or Natural Sciences with relevant professional experience.

  • 3+ years in Marketing, with hands-on experience in brand planning and forecasting.

  • Strong grasp of brand strategy, performance analytics, and market dynamics.

  • Skilled in analyzing in-market performance data and key KPIs.

  • Proficient in forecasting, market research, and competitive intelligence tools.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.

  • Familiar with digital channels, campaign setup, and customer journey mapping.

  • Comfortable with change management and leading cross-functional initiatives.

  • Collaborative and stakeholder-oriented, with strong communication skills.

  • Open to learning and applying new technologies and digital marketing innovations

  • Ideally knowledge of the German / DACH Pharmaceutical Market

  • Previous experience in Rare Disease / Oncology, product Launch is a plus

  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
