Position Overview
HungerRush is seeking an experienced and highly organized and results-driven Marketing Events Specialist to execute and enhance our event strategy. This role will focus on overseeing the logistics and successful execution of in-person industry events, trade shows, and online events that align with our demand generation and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) efforts. Reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing, this role will be pivotal in increasing brand visibility, fostering engagement with target audiences, and contributing to our overall business objectives.
This position is remote with travel required
Objective/Purpose of the Role:
The Marketing Events Specialist will bring our event strategy to life by ensuring the smooth execution and impactful delivery of HungerRush's presence at in-person events and online events. This role plays a key part in amplifying our brand, driving demand generation, and supporting ABM initiatives, while ensuring consistency across all event touchpoints.
Essential Responsibilities:

Event Strategy Execution:
- Partner with the marketing, sales, product and customer success teams to execute a cohesive event strategy that aligns with business goals.
- Coordinate all logistics for in-person events and trade shows, ensuring brand alignment and maximizing event impact.
- Manage the annual event budget including the overall strategic plan regarding event participation, sponsorships, events. And manage the day to day spend for each event to ensure a strong ROI and spend efficiency.
- Manage event timelines and resources to ensure successful execution.
- Manage additional internal company events and executive support for ad hoc requests as needed.

Content Creation and Event Promotion:
- Oversee the creation of engaging event content, including presentations, product demos, and promotional materials.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure content is aligned with marketing strategies.

Online Event Management:
- Manage the end-to-end execution of online events that support lead generation and ABM strategies.
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop compelling online event experiences.
- Measure the success of online events by tracking performance metrics and gathering insights for improvement.

Project Management:
- Lead the project management of all events, ensuring coordination across teams and stakeholders.
- Liaise with vendors, venues, and internal departments to ensure flawless event execution.
- Troubleshoot logistical challenges and respond to last-minute changes effectively.

Stakeholder and Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with event vendors, venues, and third-party partners, negotiating contracts and overseeing service quality.
- Ensure clear communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the planning and execution phases.

Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage event budgets, focusing on cost-effectiveness and maximizing ROI.
- Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring high-quality event experiences while staying within budgetary constraints.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in event management, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment.
- Experience creating success targets, tracking the right metrics, delivering results, and reporting on the success or learnings from each event and the overall strategy.
- Proven experience managing both in-person and online events.
- Strong track record of coordinating multiple events simultaneously with a focus on managing logistics and ROI.
- Experience supporting demand generation and ABM strategies through event execution.
Skills:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex event logistics under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across departments.
- Creative problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-pressure or last-minute situations.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering exceptional event experiences.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, etc.).
- Professional Attributes:
- A high-energy, proactive approach to owning your outcomes with a strong sense of urgency and a focus on delivering results.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally, particularly with sales, marketing, and product teams.
