The Role

JOB OVERVIEW

As the Marketing Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for researching, planning, and executing a wide range of events, including trade shows, conferences, client and partner events, and, where needed, supporting with webinars. You will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences that position Cendyn as a thought leader and industry innovator. This role requires a strategic thinker, a detail-oriented planner, and a proactive team player who can seamlessly manage multiple projects simultaneously, across different geographies and time zones. In addition to supporting with Events, the Marketing Events Coordinator will support with administrative tasks that cover the broader Demand Generation team, their support will be critical in managing social media, invoice tracking and managing vendors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute a range of events, including conferences, trade shows, customer advisory boards, webinars, workshops, and partner events across multiple international locations
  • Manage event logistics including venue selection, budget management, and vendor coordination, catering, gifting, print collaterals, audiovisual requirements, and transportation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and event partners worldwide
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective event execution.
  • Create and manage event timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Handle attendee communication, registration processes, and on-site event management
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing and sales teams to identify key opportunities for participation in industry events
  • Support with event promotion through various channels, including social media and email marketing
  • Analyze post-event data and prepare comprehensive reports to measure event success and ROI
  • Create event timelines, support with developing budgets, and project plans for events
  • Work closely with the wider marketing team to support in the creation of compelling event content, presentations, and collateral
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all event materials
  • Develop and support with implementing promotional strategies to drive attendance and engagement at events and webinars through multiple channels
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to measure the success of each event against predefined goals.
  • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continually improve future events.
  • Manage demand generation admin related tasks including invoice management, social media support, updating events tracker, uploading documents in relevant SharePoint folders, task assignment and management in Click-up, uploading leads / contacts to Salesforce, etc.
  • Creating monthly reports for various events as well as follow-up with sales on lead uploads

REQUIREMENTS

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an events coordinator, preferably in the B2B technology sector.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in event management software and tools.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas for events.
  • Willingness to travel as required for events.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
