Building the modern infrastructure for pediatric care—helping families find care and therapists build thriving practices
The Role
The Marketing Director will execute hands-on marketing across various platforms, ensuring brand cohesion and clarity for families and clinicians. This role involves creating systems, executing programs, and driving local market activation for a consumer brand at the intersection of health.
Summary Generated by Built In

Coral Care is building the brand parents turn to when something is hard and they need help.

We connect families to in-home speech, occupational, and physical therapy for their children, covered through insurance. We also give clinicians the infrastructure to build private practices they love. Our providers chose a career of service and deserve a platform that supports them the way they support families.

Every session is in-home and in-person. Trust is not a brand value. It is the product. We earn it hyperlocally, one family and one clinician at a time.

To do it well, we need a marketer who understands that the best consumer brands are not just recognized. They are felt.

We closed our Series A in February and are growing, and need the marketing talent to help us achieve these goals.

The Role

This is the marketing leadership role at Coral Care. You will own how we show up across every channel and every audience in every local market. That means organic social, influencer, affiliate, ambassador, and community programs. It means PR and earned media. It means seasonal moments, campaign launches, and the in-home and in-community experiences that make families and clinicians feel something.

You will partner closely with the CEO on vision and own the execution end to end. This is a hands-on role. You will be writing, directing, coordinating, and shipping real work, while building the team and systems that allow Coral Care to show up consistently as we grow.

What You Will Own

Brand

  • Translate a founder-led brand vision into a cohesive, recognizable consumer brand
  • Establish and maintain creative standards across every channel and touchpoint
  • Build the brand systems and formats that make quality execution repeatable

Growth and Community

  • Lead organic social, influencer, affiliate, and ambassador strategies
  • Build and activate referral and community programs that drive word of mouth
  • Own PR and earned media, shaping how Coral Care is covered and talked about

Campaigns and Content

  • Drive integrated go-to-market campaigns for launches and seasonal brand moments
  • Own lifecycle marketing for families, from first touchpoint through active care
  • Shape provider-facing marketing so clinicians feel aligned with and proud of the brand

Local and Experiential

  • Lead local market activation including partnerships, events, print, and grassroots brand building
  • Create physical brand systems that show up in homes, schools, and neighborhoods
  • Build the local presence that makes Coral Care feel embedded in every community we serve

Team and Operations

  • Lead and grow a small marketing team while remaining deeply hands-on
  • Manage budget and partnerships with agencies, contractors, and vendors
  • Run disciplined tests and build reporting that connects marketing work to real outcomes

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year:

  • Coral Care is a brand parents recognize and trust before they ever need us, and turn to first when they do
  • Parents instantly understand what we do, who it is for, and why it is different
  • Clinicians feel genuinely proud to represent the brand and connected to its mission
  • Every market we are in feels activated, visible, and embedded in its community
  • Marketing has a point of view, a voice, and a creative standard that is unmistakably Coral Care

Who We Are Looking For

You come from a world where brand is felt, not just measured. CPG, fashion, beauty, food, wellness, or a consumer category where real-world experience shapes everything. You know how to market to women, authentically and specifically. You have built something from the ground up or scaled a brand through a period of rapid growth and want to do it again, this time for something that matters deeply.

You are:

  • A brand builder who executes flawlessly and holds a high creative bar
  • Fluent across organic social, influencer, PR, affiliate, ambassador, events, and content
  • A strong campaign thinker who can connect brand vision to integrated execution
  • Experienced marketing to more than one audience, ideally across a two-sided or community-driven platform
  • Comfortable in early-stage environments where things are not fully baked and you like that part
  • Analytical enough to run tests and make decisions with data, without losing the creative instinct
  • You have reimagined how you work with AI, not just for content, but across planning, research, testing, and execution, and you expect the same standard from the people around you.
  • Based in or around New York City

Experience and Background

  • 6 to 10 or more years owning marketing programs end to end
  • Proven track record building or scaling a consumer brand
  • Backgrounds in CPG, DTC, fashion, beauty, food, wellness, parenting, or family-focused categories are especially relevant
  • Experience with local, experiential, or community-driven marketing is highly valued
  • Experience leading small teams or collaborating with contractors while staying hands-on
  • Healthcare experience is not required

Why Coral Care

This is a rare opportunity to build a brand in a category that does not yet have one. Parents navigating hard moments with their kids deserve a name they recognize, a voice they trust, and an experience that makes them feel less alone. That brand does not exist yet. You will build it.

You will have real ownership, a direct creative partnership with the founder, and the scope to define what marketing means at Coral Care for years to come. The work shows up not just in dashboards but in homes, schools, and neighborhoods, in the moments that matter most to families.

Benefits

  • Competitive medical coverage for you and your family
  • Meaningful equity ownership in a growing Series A company
  • Generous PTO plus paid holidays
  • Paid parental leave for all parents
  • Hybrid work model with flexibility
  • Access to a 401(k) plan

Skills Required

  • Hands-on marketing experience at an early-stage startup
  • 6 to 10 or more years of experience owning programs end to end
  • Experience building or scaling a consumer brand
  • Understanding of local, experiential, or community-driven marketing
  • Experience marketing to parents or families

What We Do

Coral Care is building the modern infrastructure for pediatric developmental therapy. Across the United States, families struggle to access high-quality speech, occupational, and physical therapy for their children. Long waitlists, confusing insurance processes, and limited provider availability make it difficult for families to get help when they need it most. At the same time, many therapists want to build independent practices but are held back by the complexity of running a business: insurance credentialing, billing, scheduling, and administrative work. Coral Care solves both problems. We provide the technology, operational infrastructure, and support that allow therapists to build thriving local practices while helping families quickly find and book high-quality care. Our clinicians deliver therapy in homes and communities, creating better outcomes for children and more sustainable careers for providers. Through our platform, families can search for care, verify insurance, and get matched with trusted therapists in their area. For providers, Coral Care handles insurance, scheduling, billing, and operational support so they can focus on what they do best: helping children grow. We’re building a new model for pediatric therapy—one that expands access for families and creates a better way for clinicians to practice.

Why Work With Us

Coral Care is building the infrastructure that pediatric therapy has always needed but never had. Our team is mission-driven, fast-moving, and deeply focused on solving real problems for families and clinicians. If you want to work on meaningful challenges and help build a category-defining company, you’ll thrive here.
