WP Engine is looking for a EMEA focused Director of Marketing to play a pivotal role in serving the world of WordPress agencies & brands with WP Engine’s deep catalog of expert resources. This is a win-win-win mission - empowering agencies, their clients, brands and WP Engine to succeed together!

The Day to Day

  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive EMEA focused demand generation strategy aligned with overall business goals, focusing on lead generation, agency & brand acquisition, enablement and revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with the global digital marketing team to ensure that EMEA is hitting its inbound lead generation goals. 

  • Collaborate with the Customer Lifecycle and Agency teams to ensure that our Brand and Agency focused campaigns are localized and perform well in the local EMEA market. 

  • Data-Driven decision making to monitor, analyze, and report on agency & brand program performance.

  • Events. Own the execution of local events in the EMEA marketing, whilst collaborating with the global Events team on the overall events strategy. 

  • Technology Utilization: Ensure local roll out and use of agency & brand specific marketing technology platforms and tools.

  • Field Marketing: Where required, create localized campaigns, collaborate with sales on execution, follow up and reporting. 

  • Report on any local marketing spend and measure/report on the effectiveness/ROI.

Your Skills and Expertise

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Demand Generation, Growth Marketing, Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, Tradeshows and Events for a SaaS company.

  • Proven track record in creating engaging lead generation campaigns across various digital touchpoints.

  • Experience in Wordpress or other Open Source technologies preferred.

  • Demonstrated expertise in demand generation strategies for SaaS-oriented audiences.

  • Strong data skills and a deep curiosity to utilize analytics to uncover opportunities for growth.

  • Exceptional marketing strategy skills, capable of crafting clear proposals, executive readouts, and campaign reports.

  • Proficiency in prioritization, utilizing expected value estimates and cross-functional collaboration to determine high-impact ideas.

  • Experienced in collaborating with US led global marketing teams. 

  • Familiarity with demand generation tools, including CMS, analytics, and email marketing.

  • Effective project management skills, with the ability to coordinate and communicate clearly.

  • Experience running trade shows, webinars, round tables and other localized marketing events.

  • Experience marketing to digital marketing agencies is a plus, but a strong desire to understand this audience is essential.

  • Agency experience is a plus.
