As Marketing Director, you create and implement future-proof category strategies that are grounded in deep consumer and category insight, data-driven and digitally integrated and that ensure profitable business growth beyond brand growth.
How you will contribute
You will lead and implement the brand strategies across iconic brands like Cadbury & Toblerone, embedding the consumer at the heart of everything we do. In pursuit of delivering genuine category growth you will work across multiple time horizons, generating category insights, strategies and best practices.
In addition, you will take the lead on select growth platforms and strategic initiatives, deliver consumer led innovation programmes and ultimately deliver brand excellence across all consumer touch points.
In this role, you will:
Have full responsibility for;
- Strategic planning process (PMR) and portfolio management
- Annual financial plan development and execution (Annual Contract/AC)
- Integrated marketing communications (Equity through to activation)
- Media planning
- Trade marketing spend
- Price strategy implementation
- Change management
- Innovation and I2M process
The role also sits on the UK Marketing Leadership Team with a clear role to engage in broader functional work tracks focusing on key culture pillars. The role also sits on the UK Commercial Leadership Team (CLT) with a responsibility to lead commercial planning processes such as AC planning and in year commercial decision making.
What you will bring
A desire to drive change in our organisation and accelerate your career, alongside the following experience and knowledge:
- Cross-functional, cross-geography program/project leadership and effective influencing of complex and senior stakeholder set-up
- Leadership and influencing skills with a focus on effectively collaborating across the organization including at executive level
- End-to-end business models and algorithms and their translation into specific profit and loss lines
- Solid experience in Commercial roles, with a blend of experiences, weighted towards Marketing and category leadership in a matrix environment
- Proven track record in developing high performing cross functional teams
- Experience in creating, developing and executing brand strategy
- Experience in developing and executing brand equity and activation campaigns
- Experience in Seasons, either in Marketing or commercial roles
- Experience in growth modelling tools, consumer demand spaces, market and competitive analytics and financial reporting tools
- Communicating effectively, verbally and when presenting
