Job Purpose:

Astound Digital is looking for a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Junior Marketing Creative Designer to join our growing marketing team. In this entry-level role, you will bridge the gap between marketing strategy and visual execution. Your primary focus will be designing high-performing visual assets for our paid media channels and supporting general brand initiatives. The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of digital marketing design principles and is eager to develop their skills using modern design tooling like Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, iterate, and export high-converting visual assets (banners, carousels, stories, and static graphics) tailored for various paid social and paid search channels.
  • Utilize Figma to build, organize, and maintain marketing design files, templates, and component libraries to ensure rapid asset production and scalability.
  • Support the wider marketing team by creating graphics for email campaigns, landing pages, website updates, and organic social media channels using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Take winning ad concepts and quickly build out variations (changing headlines, colors, imagery, or layouts) to support continuous A/B testing frameworks.
  • Partner closely with media lead, and marketing managers to translate campaign briefs into compelling, brand-compliant visual stories.
  • Properly format, compress, and organize creative assets within our digital asset management systems to ensure seamless hand-offs to the media buying team.
  • Design and produce client-facing sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, solution presentations, one-pagers, case studies, event collateral, and other branded assets that support business development, client engagement, and partner marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience in Figma (understanding components, auto-layout, and exporting is a major plus).
  • 2+ years experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator, for image editing, vector creation, and layout design.
  • Solid grasp of typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and layout composition specifically tailored for digital and mobile-first viewports.
  • Familiarity with the optimal dimensions, constraints, and creative best practices for major digital ad platforms (Meta, Google, Linkedin, YouTube).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field; OR equivalent practical experience demonstrated through a strong creative portfolio.
  • An eagerness to learn, positive response to creative feedback, strong time-management skills, and the capability to manage multiple asset deadlines simultaneously.

Skills Required

  • 2+ years experience in Figma (components, auto-layout, exporting)
