About This Role:
This position will support the Gartner’s Global Marketing & Email Operations team. Individual in this role will work to create marketing audience segments for email communications to clients and/or prospects. He will work to collect & analyze data on customers and prospects to understand their needs, preferences, and behaviors and by using the data help marketing managers to create personalized marketing strategies. This position will have the opportunity to develop business skills and acquire a broad understanding of Gartner with growth opportunities in Global Marketing.
What You Will Do:
- Use Eloqua to perform marketing audience segmentation.
- Develop distribution lists and shared filters based on campaign workflow requirements.
- Understand and work on complex logical operators on Eloqua (or any other competitive Marketing Automation tool).
- Analyze data and determine patterns with available tools. Help develop data cuts to facilitate segregation at various levels such as region, industry, job level, role, event registration, etc.,
- Able to highlight patterns in structured and unstructured data.
- Be cognizant of data privacy laws and their application to email sends. Analyze email deliverability data and ensure bounce back numbers are in check.
- Monitor and track efficacy of campaign efforts and channel attributions.
- Regularly collaborate with global stakeholders and peers to gather campaign production requirements and ensure appropriate audiences sets are created to reached effectively at the optimal times with the ideal message.
- Maintain a consistent upward and lateral flow of communication pertaining to project status updates.
Who You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of experience.
- Understanding of advanced segmentation concept on email channels.
- Demonstrable experience with Advanced Excel is a must.
- Experience with Eloqua or similar marketing automation platform (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, Salesforce) is a must.
- Demonstrable experience with SQL is a must.
- Demonstrable experience with Power BI or similar tool (e.g., Domo, Tableau, Alteryx) will be a bonus.
- Superior problem-solving ability and ability to think “outside the box.”
- Strong analytical skillset with the ability to compile, organize and formulate a substantial amount of data with attention to details and accuracy.
- Intellectual curiosity, mindfulness, and ability to grasp technical concepts quickly.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional client service & work ethics and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities.
- Ability to form and test hypotheses with available data and industry/corporate best practices.
- Tolerance for ambiguity and self-drive to operate in an entrepreneurial setting.
- Proven ability of managing tasks from beginning to end with strict adherence to deadlines.
