Job summary

The Marketing Data Operations Analyst supports the Roiback Digital Marketing team by ensuring the accuracy of campaign data used for invoicing, payment processing, and financial reporting. The role is highly operational, with responsibilities focused on billing, reconciliations, and data validation.

This position is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and experienced in Excel. Knowledge of digital marketing, SQL, or data analysis is a plus, but not essential. We are looking for someone eager to learn and develop into more technical responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate campaign data for invoicing and financial reporting.
  • Manage billing and payment spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Review supplier invoices, platform costs, and campaign allocation files.
  • Reconcile data from multiple sources and investigate discrepancies.
  • Perform regular data quality checks and validations.
  • Support monthly billing and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Maintain clear documentation of processes and issues.
  • Assist with reporting, dashboards, and data-related projects as skills develop.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and efficiency.
Skills & Experience
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling large payments and financial data.
  • Strong numerical and organisational skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing is desirable.
  • Exposure to SQL or reporting tools is beneficial but not required.
  • Interest in learning data, reporting, and technical skills.
  • Experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, hospitality, or technology is a plus but not required.

    Skills Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field
    • 2–3 years of experience in data analysis, marketing analysis, marketing operations, or a similar role
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in SQL, Python, BigQuery, Excel, or similar analytical tools
    • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or other data visualization platforms
    • Understanding of marketing performance metrics, campaign analysis, and ROI measurement
    • Knowledge of statistical analysis, database management, and data warehousing concepts
    • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
    • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
