As the Marketing Operations Lead you’ll be responsible for managing and leading our marketing operation team in a 12-month fixed term maternity cover position.  Your role will involve the delivery of marketing activities, typically campaigns from triggered through to lifecycle, within the platforms AKQA partners with including Adobe, Salesforce and Braze.

As team lead, you will foster a positive, inspiring and motivating team environment. You will grow, manage and mentor a team and guide their professional growth. You will be responsible for the campaign delivery, estimating and resource allocation of all your team's engagements.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
  • Implement marketing automation campaigns within marketing platforms
  • Awareness of marketing platforms’ deployment methodologies and development practices.
  • Contribute to best practice in the management of performance and scalability.
  • Diagnose and solve technical problems related to marketing platform use.
  • Team leadership and management of marketing ops practice
  • Team support to the offshore EDM squad supporting client engagements
  • Support new business activities through estimates for new workstreams
  • Ensure the quality of work produced individually and by team is of the highest standard.
  • Calculate estimates and ensure the accuracy of development estimates.
  • Contribute thought leadership pieces and champion the best use of marketing clouds to AKQA’s clients and client service team.
QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
  • 3+ years’ experience in Adobe Campaign (IBM Campaign/Unica, Oracle Responsys, Oracle Eloqua, Marketo, Braze or Salesforce Marketing Cloud also highly desirable).
  • Highly motivated, productive and collaborative.
  • Ability to lead a team of motivated experts to quality outcomes. 
  • Strong client relationship skills, and able to be a partner and strategic advisor to clients.
  • A passion for beautifully executed digital solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Exemplary problem solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Proven data-management experience with knowledge of relational database principals.
  • Able to translate marketing requirements into technical solutions in development teams.
