Eucalyptus is the company behind “Juniper”, one of the world’s largest weight management programs combining GLP-1 medication with a tailored nutrition and exercise programme, supported by our multidisciplinary care team of prescribers, health coaches, dietitians, nurses and pharmacists.

Our published clinical research demonstrates that our combined approach to weight management and lifestyle change means that our patients are 4x as likely to lose significant weight through their course of treatment with Juniper.

Since launching, we’ve grown fast to support millions of patients.

We launched in Japan in 2024 and quickly shifted some focus to support our fast-growing UK business. Since then, Japan has shown strong momentum, growing over 150% and expanding our marketing investment tenfold. Our goal is to reach 50,000 patients by the end of 2026, building on the success of our UK team, which grew from 5,000 to 40,000 patients in just ten months.

Globally, Eucalyptus now generates over A$500M in annual revenue and continues to double in size each year while staying financially sustainable. We’ve also made sure our people share in that success — around 20% of employees have already benefited from our employee share program.

🇯🇵 Our plans in Japan - About Juniper (The clinic)

Our mission through Juniper is to empower people across Japan to take control of their weight journey. For us, this means a medical approach to weight loss that doesn’t judge, doesn’t discriminate, and really works! It’s why we connect patients with Japanese doctors, dietitians and a clinical team, who can guide and empower them on their journeys. With clinically proven medication, lifestyle interventions, ongoing support, and a community of like-minded women, we help patients achieve better weight loss outcomes.

🌿 About The Role

This is a high-impact, high-ownership Growth Marketing role. You’ll be part of the Juniper Japan team in Tokyo, shaping the look, feel, and experience of our brand - across product, marketing, and patient content.

This role will work closely with:

  • Justin Teo, GM of Japan (based in Tokyo, JP)
  • Amelia Hanigan, Head of Creative - AU (based in Sydney, AU)
  • Mon Penning, Creative Lead - AU (based in Sydney, AU)
  • Function Leaders across the Japan team - Growth, Product, Operations, and Business Operations

The role is initially focussed on Japan, however has the potential to grow into a role covering regional operations as the business grows.

🌿 What You’ll Do

  • Leverage performance data, market trends, and competitor insights to create compelling content across all channels, with a focus on digital channels such as Meta, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Lead the creative process from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring assets are engaging and aligned with channel best practice.
  • Drive A/B testing and creative iteration to ensure a continuous learning approach.
  • Regularly monitor ad performance and provide actionable insights to guide future creative.
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and video editors to produce high-quality work that grows the brand.

🌿 About You

Skills & Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in copywriting or similar roles, with in-house experience as a bonus.
  • Passionate about creative trends and new platforms, combining ideas with data to deliver effective marketing.
  • Proactive and driven to continuously optimise and improve creative work.
  • Proven track record in performance creative, producing successful ads and UGC.
  • Strong direct-response copywriting skills; video editing knowledge (Premiere Pro, Capcut) is a plus.
  • Fluent or native-level Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) strongly preferred.
