Ecolab is searching for a driven Marketing Copywriter for future opportunities within our Marketing division in Pune, India.

As Copywriter; you will be a key part of Ecolab’s Creative Services team in Marketing. You will write compelling messages that speak to people’s hearts and minds, and work on various projects with tight deadlines.

What You Will Do:

  • Copywriting Execution – Create messages and experiences through words and concepts to address the intended audience and generate the desired outcome based on business / legal requirements.
  • Content Optimization – Enhance content through strategic utilization of relevant keywords to drive SEO and audience engagement.
  • Cross-channel Collaboration – Work with creative teams (editors, designers, marketing) to determine story structure and tone and drive the personality of the brand/campaign to meet communication needs in multiple channels.
  • Process Improvement – Identify and escalate process improvement opportunities to improve the overall writing process.
  • May provide support to associate level department employees and provide training.
  • Contribute to knowledge management activities by identifying and updating knowledge as requested and required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and participating in improvement projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree and less than 2 years’ experience.
  • Strong portfolio of design content showcasing your skills and experience
  • Artistic with a keen eye for aesthetics, visually appealing content and thinking out of the box.
  • Deep understanding of visual design principles, typography, storyboarding, and animation
  • Outgoing, positive outlooks and team oriented
  • Excellent time and self-management and communication skills
  • Professional working proficiency in English
  • Technical expertise in: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD), Microsoft Office, and other collaborative design tools, SiteCore (CMS), Widen
  • A solid portfolio showcasing strategic writing, ideation and thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for expert editing and proofreading copies
  • Handle feedback and edits with professionalism
  • Thought leader and positive team player
  • Excellent time and self-management skills
  • Technical experience in: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Widen, Keyword Research Tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner)
  • Professional working proficiency in English
