As a Marketing Coordinator, you will provide vital project management, strategic and creative support to real estate agents across our Central Maryland offices. In this role, you will deliver value that makes our agents' marketing efforts more efficient, impactful, and seamless. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will help shape strategies that elevate the agent experience on a 'big picture’ scale while ensuring all output aligns with Compass concepts and branding guidelines.
- Work Structure: 100% In-Office
- Location: Supporting Central Maryland offices (Ellicott City, Baltimore City, Annapolis) Willingness to travel weekly to different office locations as needed. The home office will be based in Locust Point.
Project Management & Workflow
- Traffic Control: Manage our internal Zendesk ticketing system, assigning projects to the team based on bandwidth, urgency, and scope.
- End-to-End Execution: Project-manage custom marketing requests from concept to completion, including design workflow oversight, vendor coordination, agent communication, and post-campaign reporting.
- Asset Creation: Quickly assemble templated creative assets—such as print ads and brochures—using InDesign and Compass systems, ensuring high-quality, on-brand execution.
Strategy & Brand Representation
- Monthly Sales Meeting and Workshops: Present and lead workshops that highlight Compass platform tips and marketing strategies to improve agents workflows and business on a monthly basis. Present Regional and National updates to offices in monthly sales meetings.
- Marketing Consultation: Develop tailored marketing strategies that maximize agents' budgets across branding, print advertising, digital, social media, direct mail, video, and paid media.
- Social Media Management: Oversee and grow the social media presence for Central Maryland offices, featuring active listings and engaging agent content across Facebook and Instagram.
- Brand Integrity: Ensure all marketing and design materials adhere to Compass brand guidelines while seamlessly integrating individual agent branding.
Relationship Building & Communication
- Agent Support: Build strong, empathetic relationships with agents and stakeholders through clear communication, proactive updates, and confident handling of objections.
- Internal Communications: Serve as the communication liaison for Central Maryland sales managers and directors, highlighting ongoing office initiatives and workshops through a weekly newsletter.
- Culture Carrier: Act as a positive influence on the team, inspiring colleagues with a solutions-oriented mindset and a willingness to champion workshops and knowledge on a regional scale.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience producing marketing content in-house or at an agency. Real estate industry experience is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to confidently present ideas.
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of creative programs like Canva, Adobe InDesign to execute design work. Proficiency with Workfront & Zendesk project management software is a strong plus.
- Office Tools: Highly proficient across Google Platform (Docs, Slides, and Sheets)
- Project Management: Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to prioritize projects, multi-task, and hit tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Soft Skills: Self-motivated, energetic, and highly collaborative with an impeccable eye for detail, deep discretion, and a passion for providing "surprise and delight" customer service.
The salary pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.50/hr however, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location. Minimum wage for the position will always be met.
