Marketing Coordinator

Are you creative, proactive, and passionate about bringing brands to life? Join our Commercial team as a Marketing Coordinator in Vryburg, and take the lead in activating Herotel’s presence in your region while supporting the national marketing strategy.

The key purpose of this role is to manage local marketing initiatives, drive brand awareness, and ensure our campaigns connect with customers in meaningful ways.

What you’ll do:

• Plan and execute brand activations, pop-up sales offices, and information kiosks

• Mobilise regional teams to support events, ensuring training, appearance, and readiness

• Identify sponsorship and community engagement opportunities to boost brand awareness

• Attend and manage events in person, including occasional Saturdays

• Maintain and update local social media channels in line with our digital strategy

• Ensure national website maps reflect accurate coverage information

• Collaborate with head office to explore long-term marketing opportunities, including billboards, radio, and print

• Manage marketing budgets and track spend against fibre take-up targets

• Contribute ideas and initiatives to strengthen Herotel’s presence in the region

What you’ll need:

• Marketing degree or relevant 3-year qualification

• 2–5 years’ experience managing marketing for multiple branches or regions

• Comfortable travelling 2–3 times per month and working Saturdays when required

• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities
