Role Description:
Reporting directly to the Marketing & Tenant Engagement Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will be instrumental in supporting the execution of high-impact marketing strategies across the Vancouver Office portfolio, spanning 4.5 million square feet. This pivotal role commands leadership in launching innovative marketing initiatives, spearheading tenant engagement programs, and delivering exceptional tenant-facing experiences. Success in this position demands a dynamic combination of creativity, superior organizational acumen, and an unwavering commitment to fostering meaningful connections. 
Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing of annual marketing plans and programs that engage our tenants 
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager (National) to produce marketing materials, including email campaigns, newsletters, signage and digital content (via QuadReal+, our tenant engagement app)
  • Maintain and update digital storefronts,  including event listings, promotions, and retailer information.
  • Assist in the upkeep of contacts and event documentation, contracts, budgets, other 
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute tenant events, seasonal activations, and community partnerships from concept to completion, which includes managing timelines, meeting attendance and organization, interviewing vendors, invoicing, securing swag bag items, staffing and completing requisite insurance-related paperwork
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, sponsors, and entertainment providers to deliver high-quality experiences.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including permits, contracts, budgets, and schedules.
  • Provide on-site event management, ensuring smooth execution, positive visitor experience and all programming touchpoints are seamless and looked after
  • Manage the proper upkeep of marketing collateral, swag and event supplies
  • Prepare event post-mortem reports for internal purposes and tenants, quarterly retail reports (where it pertains to events) and that measures success and ROI and details key learnings and areas for improvement
  • Demonstrate organizational prowess by effectively managing file systems, maintaining marketing inventory count and databases, taking meeting notes, processing payables and mitigating risk by ensuring proper paperwork is submitted efficiently and effectively
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Event Management or related discipline is preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years marketing/communications experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with various audiences clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated work in real estate, retail, hospitality or lifestyle brands is an asset
  • Agile thinker with a resourceful knack to problem solving
  • Out-of-the-box thinker with proven creative and innovative approach to solving problems
  • Ability to work under pressure as well as, work independently and as a team
  • Uncanny attention to detail, strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines
  • Intermediate MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000.

The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity.

QuadReal offers a competitive total rewards package in addition to the base pay, which includes a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, a defined contribution pension plan and paid time off.
