The Role

Overview:

As an eCommerce Coordinator for Story Cannabis, you will assist in day-to-day tasks, project coordination, building and merchandising digital content. Tasked with ensuring digital content is displayed with accuracy and quality in mind, while verifying a seamless execution of promotions, events and themes. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the quality of digital activations, liaising with vendors, and handling various ad hoc tasks and research initiatives to support the overall eCommerce strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the implementation and coordinating of key tasks such as promotions, content creation, product listings, and maintenance, ensuring their success.
  • Play a supportive role in collaborating with cross-functional teams on digital initiatives; organizing and executing digital activations and content.
  • Be highly involved with website Quality Assurance reviews to ensure promotional and content accuracy at all times
  • Assisting the collaboration with eCommerce and customer journey optimizations including: product recommendations, upsells/cross sell, and efficiency improvement opportunities.
  • Become subject matter expert on individual retail markets and work with teams to create engaging customer experiences.
  • Conduct research on market and competitive trends, compiling reports to provide insights to the team. Use web analytics to monitor sales and promotion success
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks and assist with other projects as needed

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of marketing experience, preferably within the digital or ecommerce space.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effectively representing our brands to customers.
  • Experience in project management and excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications including Microsoft Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce marketing space and best practices.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms and analytical tools to measure performance and innovations a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks. Ability to say "I don't know" and willing to learn.
  • Punctual, reliable, and adaptable to occasional evening and weekend work.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to drive as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
