Job Description

The purpose of this position is to support the sales team with the development and implementation of regional marketing plans for our industry leading products and solutions. This includes developing creative product launches and campaigns, collaborating on local and regional events, and supporting messaging and collateral development. The role will require working directly with customers, integration partners, direct sales, and product and marketing. It is a role with a local and regional focus, with product and customer focus. 

The role will require some travel across the defined geography, with occasional international travel requirements in accordance with the needs of the North American business. 

Primary Job Functions 

  • Support our content strategy, producing and distributing content across various channels to reinforce TOMRA´s brand, messaging and communications. 
  • Lead the creation of internal and external communications and promotional material including industry blogs, product information sheets, whitepapers, sales collateral, web and display materials. Work with external agencies for specialist services.
  • Provide creative and messaging input, often for technical marketing content. 
  • Assist the NAM Sales team to manage planning for trade shows, industry exhibitions, customer tours, sales conferences and other marketing events including organizing messaging, equipment and logistics as required. Take a lead role in managing regional events. 
  • Lead marketing projects across the business operating in virtual teams.
  • Integrate and leverage the TOMRA Food brand, develop and following guidelines. 
  • Assist with monitoring competitor activity and data management.
  • Assist or lead marketing projects as required. 
  • Regular submission of market reviews, competitors, analysis and market intelligence to recognize and anticipate new opportunities for the company. 
  • Drive customer engagement through content across our social channels. 
  • Lead assessment of effectiveness of post-campaign feedback. 
  • Support the Sales team with content development and distribution of information to industry groups, Customers, distributors and agents including strategic bid support.

  • Identify, implement and embed any Excellence initiatives to improve quality, performance and efficiency of the team to facilitate outstanding customer experience.

  • Positively and actively support effective communication, encourage and provide constructive feedback. 
  • Support the overall organisational vision, values and culture. 
  • Any other reasonable duties as required.

Qualifications

Required Skills/abilities: 

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar B-2-2B marketing environment – preferably in a global company
  • Experience in creating and delivering marketing plans and campaigns
  • Proven ability to forecast, monitor, and maintain marketing budgets
  • Strong communication skills, with experience in building and& nurturing effective relationships within the business, and with external contacts 

Education

  • Associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience 

Work Environment: 

  • Ability to work in an open office environment as well as industrial customer worksites. 

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience leading marketing projects. 
  • Demostrated experience working with sales teams and key accounts. 
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and marketing programs/software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills, very good in spoken and written English 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to sit at desk for long periods of time.
  • Kneel, bend, and stand as necessary.
  • Ability to lift 5-10 lbs. 

Supervision 

  • This is not a Supervisory role 

Travel

  • This position requires minimal travel – less than 10% 

Driving: 

  • Ability to drive without restrictions in residency country

For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $61,920 to $77,400.
