Job Description
GGP has an immediate need for a Marketing Coordinator at our Chicago office.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Tenant Success, with a dotted line to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Marketing Coordinator is an hourly employee that serves as a vital resource for the Marketing team, providing tenant marketing coordination, marketing assistance, and administrative support.
ResponsibilitiesTenant Success supportSupport the Sr. Manager, Tenant Success in the project management and implementation of prioritized tenant events and activations
Coordinate the trafficking of retailer assets to support new store openings via digital channels across the portfolio
Track all marketing, Strategic Partnership (GGP Media), and Property Management support for prioritized new store openings
Assist with a variety of project management, event, and promotional program needs, including (but not limited to) developing sweepstakes rules with Legal as well as the sourcing and fulfillment of prizes or other event elements
Develop and maintain the overall new store opening calendar and associated project plans and own overall successful execution of said plans
Manage budgeting tasks, including expense management, invoice processing, and monthly accruals for accounting
Publish web and social content
Collaborate with Legal and Risk Management on contractual agreements as needed
Other assigned duties as needed
Assist in the daily business of department and team functions, such as coordinating meeting communication and flow, shipping and packaging, and assisting in team outings
Support companywide cultural initiatives such as philanthropy events, monthly cultural programming, Leadership Conference, Town Halls, and Holiday Party
Travel and expense management for Head of Marketing
PowerPoint and QA support
Other assigned duties as needed
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, real estate, hospitality, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Experience working in cross-functional, stakeholder-driven environments
Experience with invoicing/contract management a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)
Strong project management skills with strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong collaboration with a willingness to jump in and learn
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activations simultaneously
Have the ability to wear multiple hats, roll up sleeves and demonstrate proactivity
Standard business hours, Monday through Friday in-office environment
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support business continuity during high-volume tenant opening periods, activations, or time-sensitive tenant needs
Compensation
Salary type: Non-Exempt
Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
Hourly Pay Range: $24.00 - $33.65/hour
Annual Bonus: 10%
