Title: Marketing Coordinator
Reports to: Director, Marketing

Job Summary:The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and sales across Sacramento Kings Ticket Sales and Retail initiatives. This role will assist with campaigns supporting single-game tickets, ticket products, retail merchandise, lead generation, and other revenue-driving priorities.
The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Creative, Business Intelligence, Ticket Sales, Retail, and other internal teams to ensure campaigns are cohesive, on brand, data-informed, and executed on time. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, collaborative, and organized marketer who is eager to grow their experience while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Support the development and execution of marketing plans that drive Ticket Sales and Retail objectives, including single-game tickets, multi-game plans, memberships, merchandise initiatives, and lead generation campaigns.
- Coordinate day-to-day project timelines, deliverables, and communications across internal stakeholders and external partners to help ensure campaigns launch on time and meet objectives.
- Assist with media planning and creative development across digital advertising, including paid social, search, programmatic and CTV, as well as traditional media and out-of-home channels.
- Collaborate with the Creative team to coordinate advertising and promotional assets, manage timelines and approvals, and ensure approved materials are delivered to the appropriate channels.
- Partner with the Retail team to support merchandise launches, promotional campaigns, key retail moments, and other initiatives designed to drive traffic and sales.
- Coordinate with Ticket Sales to ensure marketing campaigns support sales priorities and generate qualified leads for ticket products.
- Partner with Ticket Sales & Service teams to support member events, communications, and retention campaigns.
- Support email and SMS marketing campaigns focused on ticket sales, retail, engagement, and retention.
- Contribute to database growth and email/SMS list-building initiatives that support long-term audience development and revenue opportunities.
- Work with the Business Intelligence team to monitor campaign performance, audience data, and results while identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of marketing assets, media placements, and campaign reporting.
- Assist with campaign recaps and reporting to document performance, learnings, and recommendations for future initiatives.
- Stay informed on marketing, retail, fan engagement, and industry trends that could enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably with a professional sports team, entertainment property, consumer brand, agency, retail organization, or similar environment.
- Experience supporting marketing campaigns across digital and/or traditional channels.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
- Highly collaborative, proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented in fast-moving environments.
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships across departments and with external partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and brand alignment.
- Interest in sports, live entertainment, retail, and revenue-driving marketing initiatives.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Total compensation & offer package will include the following:
- Base Salary: $45,000 - $50,000

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience
