REGIONAL MARKETING COORDINATOR - Temporary 12 months
*Please note this position is temporary for 12 months.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the team in the coordination and execution of local sponsorship, event, and partnership activations. This role contributes to delivering consistent, business-aligned experiences and supports BDC’s growth in Ontario. The incumbent will also be involved in campaign coordination and in building a dynamic community, while ensuring rigorous, efficient execution aligned with brand standards.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
- Coordinate and execute the activation of events, local sponsorships, and partnerships by collaborating with internal teams and partners to ensure alignment of objectives, messaging, and measurable outcomes, while addressing field needs (invitations, list management, marketing materials, social media, campaigns, and client relationships).
- Coordinate and collaborate with vendors, agencies, and external partners to support marketing initiatives, including the planning and operational execution of BDC booths.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver marketing campaigns, promotions, and events tailored to the region.
- Monitor the use of the BDC brand in the field and collaborate with head office to ensure optimal brand and messaging consistency.
- Ensure the availability and standardization of marketing tools across BDC business centres.
- Maintain and optimize documentation, procedures, and tools required for daily operations (e.g., PowerPoint presentations), in line with service standards.
- Support the marketing team with administrative tasks such as report creation, data entry, and performance tracking.
- Assist in tracking the regional marketing budget.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in B2B marketing and communications. Experience in sponsorship activation is required.
- Proactivity and initiative: ability to anticipate needs, propose solutions, and drive projects forward autonomously.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication: strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and channels (internal/external).
- Collaboration and teamwork: proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Marketing project coordination: strong ability to coordinate and execute marketing initiatives (events, sponsorships, campaigns) with rigor, precision, and attention to detail.
- Performance tracking and analysis, with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel and PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in applying AI to improve processes and results.
- Adaptability and versatility: ability to thrive in a constantly evolving environment with minimal supervision.
